Update for 2026
So for many reasons, we have had a very challenging year but still a good one and a very busy one nevertheless.
We’re pleased to mention that we have added three female cockatiels to our small flock of nine other males some of who are older now, but the younger ones of course needing females to bond with.
I do have one beautiful pair of grey cockatiels, one of which is a white face and I am pleased to say they are now proven breeders as I have four of their babies in my incubator right now.
Please note that over the next couple of clutches any females that are produced will be mine to add to my own flock, but any males will be able to be adopted and I will post them once I get confirmation of the sexes of these birds over the next couple of weeks.
We will continue for 2026/27 to breed or at least try to breed the following:
Budgies-Australian and English
Canaries-possibly in 2027 as long as I can find another pair to add to the ones I have currently as these are siblings.
Cockatiels-various mutations
Conures-various mutations
Lovebirds-blue/black mask and Fischer’s
Pacific Parrotlets-green
Rosy Bourkes
White Bellied Caiques
Zebra finches

Some of these birds are unproven at this time however it’s only because they’re young or have only been recently put together.
We look toward each season with lots of hopefulness and excitement but try to never count our “parrots” before they’re hatched ha ha ha!
We have been downsizing overall as life and age progresses so the number of babies we would expect to have is not large by any means therefore if you have interest in any of our baby hand raised companion parrots once they’re posted, I would recommend you private message me through this Facebook messenger asap.
We handle the front end of the adoption process through conversation and photos and videos, and would only book an appointment if we had a baby bird that you were interested to come and see. We keep the aviary very calm and quiet here overall for our breeders and in an effort to benefit them, even further, we have changed up our process for receiving customers and processing adoptions.
Lots of wonderful changes this year, all to the benefit of our birds.

Hi everyone, what a beautiful day/time of year.
Love love, love September, however with the change of season comes with phone calls regarding birds who are all of a sudden not well or have died unexpectedly due to getting a chill either through the night or even possibly on a nice day where the winds and temperatures have changed unexpectedly.
I want to get this post out before any of that happens this season.
Picture yourself sitting in front of the window near your bird’s cage all night, long in a chair and consider whether or not you would be cold or literally chilled to the bone come morning.!!!
Chills, drafts, over exposures to heat or other toxic substances in the home can occur during the change of season when the windows need to start being closed at night and then of course, once the windows are all closed you want to pay extra close attention to air quality so you do not inadvertently cause your Bird(s) any kind of respiratory distress.
It’s both spring and fall when we need to pay very close attention to these kinds of issues and I thank you for taking the time to read this and your birds also thank you and love you for your attention to these seasonal matters.

Hi everyone, I hate making these posts but we have a lost bird and I would like our community of feathered friends to keep an eye open in the Timberlake area in particular Greenwood Heights for a Sun Conure, which is pretty easy to spot. There were two of them actually that had gotten out, but one has been recovered, and the other one is still been seen by different people in that local area..
There are people in the area trying to recover her right at this moment her name is Emmy and she is friendly, but she’s been gone long enough now and where It’s now been a period of a couple weeks that she’s been missing , obviously she figured out how to eat and drink on her own because she’s not gone to anybody for sustenance so that makes it a bit more of a challenge but thank you for in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Hi everyone now that spring has officially landed. Let me say it is busy as heck over here. We did unfortunately get a slow start this season and the few birds that we did breed have already been adopted out without me even getting a chance to post them. I do apologize as I try to make the birds available to everyone, so everyone has the same opportunity for adoption that’s my goal.
We always have lots of budgies and we did finally get a couple of pairs of cockatiels set up and we’re waiting for more lovebirds and cockatiels at the moment we do have a couple of baby Conures available to our cinnamon and one is probably going to be green cheek it’s a little bit young to know for sure but I’m pretty certain. One of the cinnamons is definitely a female and the other ones too young yet we’ll be doing DNA very soon. If anyone’s interested in these babies, you can private message me for details. Hope everyone’s enjoying the warmth of the season…..Darlene

Hi everyone …. happy Friday long time no post. Sorry about that folks!!!
I usually am right on with my holiday posts but not this year …… so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s and Happy to be Valentine’s Day all wrapped up into one sincere and grateful greeting!!!
We’ve been busy outside of the aviary and taking a little bit of a break on a personal note and after 12 years it was much much needed.
Still in operation but far from what we call being in full swing.
Just really getting back into it, doing our spring cleaning and have birds on nest and like the rest of you seriously looking forward to spring breaking through after a long winter!
We have some pictures to follow as we do have a few babies now.
To anyone who was interested in conure babies we do have two little ones in our incubator right now being hand fed.
We also have a few Fisher lovebird babies, and some budgie babies…..everybody is fully weaned, except for a couple of conure babies that are doing well but we are not quite sure about the colouring yet.
I would invite anyone to inquire by way of private message if you may be interested.

More Facebook issues!!!
It says I have 20 messages but I don’t see them. I’m getting lots of messages through so I’m hoping it’s a glitch in the number posted for “unread messages”.
On the off chance people are not getting a response then Please try us through our email at: [email protected].
I can’t take calls in the aviary, but you could send a telephone text message if you choose.
As long as the inquiry is in a text message or an email I can respond as I’m able.
I’m hoping it’s just another system glitch as I’ve had many other issues over the last three years.
Thank you for your patience. I know mine’s wearing thin.

Aviary news we’re doing a big fall cleanup and just taking time out to enjoy the flock. We still have a few babies available some conures, cockatiels, lovebirds, budgies and finches.
What a beautiful fall …… the birds are really enjoying this time of year and some have gone back to their nest!!!

Huge hello out to all the followers of this page. Apologize for not posting much this season.
Facebook has made a ton of changes and my business suite has had so many issues around posting that I gave up for a little while but it has kept all of my followers in this one place, so I’m thankful for that… and I’ll have to figure out all the changes and how to use them properly as I go along.
As we’re coming into fall, I would like to remind everyone to protect your birds from cold drafts by making sure all the windows are closed at night as it’s starting to get cold now and we do tend to get calls in this regard. Also for anyone needing wing or nail trims, we have lots of openings available for anyone wanting to get a fall trim in on their bird.

We currently have available: zebra finches, budgies, fishers, lovebirds, cockatiels, and both pineapple and green cheek, conures.
We don’t have many but there are some birds still available..
Want to remind our customers that we also do consulting, DNA processing, boarding services and regular maintenance such as wing, nail or beak, trims as necessary .
We offer ongoing support to all of our customers so no question is a silly question and remember any change in your Bird’s behaviour is always usually for a good reason.
Hope everyone enjoys the upcoming fall season and hope to hear from anyone interested in adoption, boarding or any of of our other services.

MISSING COCKATIEL
I have lost my yellow Grey color Cocktail parrot yesterday, my bird was in my daughter hands and suddenly escaped from her hands. My bird is 3 months old and has Orange color patch on both cheeks . If you have found or find in future please contact: 5069614129 .
