It's with great sadness that I make a permanent post about this (instead of weekly stories) to get the word out. Unfortunately, we will be closed down atleast for the summer and we will re-evaluate after that.
The last Canada Post strike created a lot of stress that included paying out of pocket for alternative shipping companies, meeting up with people in person (some who ghosted and left me with wasting days and gas), paying out refunds that were not required but bullied out and dealing with some incredibly nasty behaviour from customers that have unfortunately beaten down the passion of this business.
Adding in a lot of personal and health struggles and now another potential strike happening has made it impossible to maintain quick turnarounds and efficiency so Haze and Hank Designs will be closing its doors for the next while to regroup and gather the passion again.
In the past couple weeks I have had a few orders return back to me and they will be re-sent via Purolator as well as a few large orders I have left to send out, to avoid any disruption Canada Post may cause if a strike occurs.
A massive thank you to all our customers over the years - it has been amazing to see hundreds of photos sent of the charms, tags and bracelets in use and loved!
Good luck at shows, good luck achieving personal goals in & out of the saddle and I hope everyone enjoys an absolutely beautiful summer ☀️
