The Gander and Area SPCA is sending a big thank you to Notre Dame Home Furnishings for allowing us to host a BBQ fundraiser during their tent sale event once again this year🌭🍔🥤

Did you know that Notre Dame donated all food and beverages we served, PLUS all the proceeds raised from the BBQ sale ($1,139.25!!), PLUS a $200 donation on top of all of that?!🙀😸

Our team is beyond grateful to receive such generous support from a local business - thank you Notre Dame and thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event❤️😸

Honey is a two-year-old female budgie looking for a new home, ideally with another budgie.

It's generally a good idea to keep budgies in pairs for their emotional and social well-being, especially if you're often away from home. Proper introductions are key: new birds should first be quarantined, then gradually introduced visually and physically to avoid stress or conflict.

While single budgies can do well with plenty of human interaction, having a companion bird offers natural enrichment, lessens loneliness, and promotes more instinctive behaviors, leading to a longer and happier life.
