Buddy Wilkins has helped me with classes for many years when I was with another group. He has continued to help us at Take the Lead. We love seeing him each week and greatly appreciate his help.

Buddy wanted one of our jackets so this week we fulfilled his wishes. Here is Buddy looking very sharp in his new TTL jacket. John and I would also like to thank Buddy’s mom, Terry Joordens Wilkins, for all of her support and for letting us do this.

Today our TTL friends had a BEAUTIFUL walk with some great people and dogs. What a wonder day to walk and talk through the trails at Killarney Lake.

We welcome all of our staff and all of our students, who have completed at least one of our sets of classes, to join us on our Sunday walks and as the saying goes “the more the merrier.” Come on out and join us. It is a win, win, win for everyone. Dogs win to walk with other dogs, the people win by getting to talk to other dog lovers and we all win by getting to see and enjoy so many wonderful areas in our city.

Thanks to Kristel for being our group picture photographer and thanks to Carolyn for adding some action pictures.

We had a beautiful walk along the Nashwaak River today. We enjoyed a nice canopy of trees covering the trail !

Today we welcomed Leanne and her handsome boy, Stanley, for their first walk with us.

We welcome all of our staff and students, who have completed at least one set of our classes, to join us each Sunday to enjoy a nice, social walk with other TTL friends along the many trails in and around our city.

Thanks to Erika for being the photographer today.

What a beautiful day to start our TTL walks ! It was so nice to see some of our faithful regulars start us off on our first Sunday after taking a summer break. It was a small group and we hope it will grow as we move along. We welcome all of our students who have completed a set of our classes and our staff to join us for our casual, social walks. We missed John and Jayda today because of a friendly commitment.

Thanks to Glen for taking our group picture.

Hello Everyone,

All of us at Take the Lead Dog Obedience hope you had and are still having a wonderful summer. Fall is quickly creeping up which means lots of activities will be starting.

If you are looking for a fun night out with your dog where you will be building that much desired bond, earning your dog’s trust and taking on that leadership role then please consider signing up for our level 1 classes. We hold our classes at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Devon.

I will be starting to organize our classes very soon so I suggest, if you are interested, that you contact me, right away, to get on our list. Our level 1 best fits dogs 4 months old and up.

I invite you to check out our page and or our website to see our information and our reviews. I will look forward to hearing from you.
