EFFECTIVE OCT 1, 2026: Travel will be charged at 60¢/km ROUND TRIP, instead of just one-way, due to fuel prices and excessive vehicle wear.

Please help coordinate barn friends and neighbours for MagnaWave or farrier appointments so travel can be split. Unfortunately if I have to make a special trip, you are required to pay the FULL travel charge if nobody else is booked on that route or day. This can be over $100. Sadly, I can no longer front fuel costs.

Yard haul-in’s are welcome to my place while the weather is nice. I am still waiting to hear about availability of using the Fairview College indoor arena for haul-in’s for the winter months because I do not have a barn.

Check out this ol’ cutie, Jeannie! She is the sweetest girl and one of the reasons why I love mules and large donkeys. Her mom added our MagnaWave and red light services to her wellness routine, and needless to say she loved it! See you in a few weeks, Jennie 🙂

TRAVEL RATE NOTE:

As a mobile service provider covering a large area (1,000km+/week!), travel fees are necessary to help cover the cost of fuel, vehicle maintenance, repairs, and the significant amount of driving required to provide services throughout the Peace Country. Sadly, my “new” work truck needs an engine due to the extensive driving required.

***Travel is now going to be charged at 60¢/km ROUND TRIP mileage as of September 1st (…and likely forced to increase in the next few months).***

When multiple clients are booked in the same area or along the same route, travel costs may be shared between appointments whenever possible.

For longer-distance service areas, a minimum number of appointments may be required to make the trip. Individual appointments are still welcome; however, the full applicable travel fee may apply if there are no other clients available to share the trip.

Clients are always encouraged to coordinate with friends, barn mates, or other horse owners in their area to help reduce individual travel costs. Hauling to me is welcome.

Travel fees will be confirmed when appointments are scheduled whenever possible.
