Our next round of Rally Obedience classes starts September 15th, just in time to get some extra training and course practice in before the Camrose / Battle River Canine Association Dog Show! 🏆🐕
Whether you’re completely new to Rally, preparing for your first trial, or looking to polish up your skills before stepping into the ring, we have a class for you!
🏆 Excellent / Masters Coursework — 5:30–6:30pm
🐕 Introduction to Rally — 6:45–7:45pm
⭐ Novice / Advanced Coursework — 8:00–9:00pm

Pulling. Barking. Jumping. “BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY HI!” 😂
Being social isn’t a bad thing, but when excitement turns into dragging you toward every person you pass, it can make walks pretty frustrating.
We’re working on teaching that seeing people doesn’t automatically mean GO SAY HI! Instead, we’re building:
🐾 Engagement around distractions
🐾 Loose-leash walking
🐾 Impulse control
🐾 Calm, appropriate greetings
🐾 The ability to see people and simply keep moving
The goal isn’t to make your dog less friendly. It’s to give them the skills to handle that excitement and make better choices.
If your walks currently involve two hands on the leash and an apology to every stranger you pass… we can help. 😂
Skybound Dog Training offers group classes, Day Training, and private training so we can find an option that works for you and your dog.

You asked, and we’re adding another day! Skybound Dog Training Day Training is now available Monday, Wednesday AND Friday! 🎉
Drop your dog off with us for a structured day that combines individual training, enrichment, appropriate social time, settling with other dogs, all tailored to your dog’s needs and your training goals.
🐕 What can we work on?
✨ Life skills — loose leash walking, recall, jumping & manners
✨ Sport skills — obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt & NASDA
✨ Behaviour — reactivity, confidence building & more
✨ Personalized homework to help carry those skills home
📅 Monday • Wednesday • Friday
🚗 Drop-off: 8 AM–12 PM
🚗 Pick-up: 4 PM–6 PM

Shannon and Molly are a familiar face here at Skybound Dog Training, and we're always excited to see what they accomplish next! This incredible team has excelled in everything they've tried, including Rally Obedience, Barn Hunt, and NASDA.

When they're not training with us, you'll often find them putting their skills to the test at competitions with Just Gerbils and the Northern Alberta Scent Seekers Club.
