‼️ “UPDATE” ‼️
🧡Momma- the broody hen🐣
As some of you may already know , Momma wants to be a momma . She’s been sitting on some eggs for about 11 days now(Momma and I added more since😅 )
👀So…. I just took a little peek and candled most of those eggs . And there’s definitely life in 2 of Greenie’s and one of Ember’s . I can see a dark mass anyway(which means a chick has formed in there and is taking up a lot of space) I can see some veining in another . It’s looking good!
😳But… I will add this little turn of events for you ..
the other mother in the flock - “Mother Clucker”, is sitting in a nesting box tonight! She never sleeps there , she is always on the roost!
🤷🏻‍♀️Is she going broody too ??? if that’s the case , I think I will add the eggs that are just beginning to develop underneath her 😅
Oh these chickens have got my mind rattled !
