🐾😸 A heartfelt thank you goes out to Pet Valu Didsbury for their incredibly generous donation of pet supplies to our shelter! 😸🐾

As many of you know, donations like this one make such a meaningful difference, not only for the stray and abandoned pets we care for every day at WRHS, but also by helping us keep our Pet Food Bank fully stocked for our community. 💪🥰

Our Pet Food Bank allows us to give back by providing essential food and supplies to pet owners who are struggling to afford the care their beloved animals need. No one should have to choose between putting food on their own table and feeding a cherished member of their family. ❤️‍🩹

We are so incredibly grateful for every donation, every act of kindness, and every person who helps support the work we do. We truly couldn't continue caring for animals and supporting our community without you. 💘

🎀🌼 Meet Dolly & Daisy! 🌼🎀

These two beautiful, adventurous tabby sisters are just 4 months old and ready to find their forever homes! 💃💕

While they may look like little twins, Dolly and Daisy each have their own adorable personalities and both are guaranteed to bring plenty of kitten fun and love into your life! 🤩

Dolly is our sweet, playful little adventurer (with a pointy face)! She loves chasing toys, pouncing, exploring every corner she can find, and showing off those famous kitten moves. Once she’s finished with her adventures, she’s happy to settle down and enjoy some quiet time with her people. 💅💝

Daisy is our little ray of sunshine (with a round face)! She’s curious, fun-loving, and always ready to see what’s happening around her. She loves to play, explore, pounce, and keep everyone entertained with her playful antics. But once the zoomies are over, she’s more than happy to soak up some love and attention. 🌻☀️

Both girls are cat-friendly and have done well with their feline friends! They have not yet been dog or child tested, but we hope to learn more about how they feel around them soon. 🐈💕

Dolly and Daisy are available for adoption separately, so they don’t have to find a home together. Whether you’re looking for a playful little companion or simply need a little more sunshine in your life, one of these sweet sisters might be the perfect match! 🏡🥰

‼️ DO YOU KNOW MY HUMANS? I MISS THEM!‼️

Neutered male found with no ID. He's very friendly, loves to be brushed and cuddled, not a huge fan of having other cats in his space.

We're certain somebody must be missing such a handsome, sweet, and friendly kitty and we'd LOVE to reunite him with his family. If you recognize this sweet boy, PLEASE reach out! 💘🤞

Please note, if he is not claimed within 3-10 days he will become a ward of the shelter. Proof of ownership will be required prior to handing him over.

Please share his story, he really wants to go home!

❤️ An update on our emergency 🐾

We wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who sent kind messages, checked in on us, and gave us understanding while we dealt with a very sick puppy.

One of our little puppies - Mae suddenly became very sick. She had passed a large amount of blood and was found very flat and unwell in her kennel. We knew immediately that she needed help, and she was rushed straight to Didsbury Veterinary Services .

The amazing team at Didsbury Vet acted quickly, getting Mae started on fluids and medication and monitoring her closely. She remained there until approximately 5:00 p.m, when she was transported to Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital & Emergency for continued emergency care.

Mae spent the night at the emergency hospital on fluids and received additional medication to help stabilize her. It was a long and stressful time for everyone, but we are so incredibly grateful for the veterinary teams who jumped into action and cared for our little girl. ❤️‍🩹

🐾 We are very happy to report that Mae is now back with us from the emergency vet and is doing okay! 🥰

She still needs some time, rest, and lots of TLC, but seeing her back with us is exactly the update we were hoping to share.

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible staff at Didsbury Vet and Cedarwood Emergency for helping Mae when she needed it most. And thank you to everyone who reached out, worried with us, sent positive thoughts, and understood why our calls and emails had to wait while we focused on Mae.

Our shelter is volunteer-driven, and when one of our animals is in crisis, they become our priority. ❤️

Thank you for understanding, supporting us, and loving these animals right alongside us.

Keep those good thoughts coming for little Mae! 🐶💕🐾

❤️‍🔥 Meet Torch, a little survivor with a whole lot of love to give! ❤️‍🔥

At just 4 months old, this handsome black kitten is already proving that a tough start doesn’t have to define your story. Torch is one of Seraphina's sons, our beloved mama cat who was found in the aftermath of a fire in Torrington, AB. Now Torch is ready to find a family of his own. 💪😸

And what an amazing little guy he is! Torch is playful, curious, and wonderfully affectionate. He’s always ready to chase a toy, launch into a kitten zoomie or investigate whatever has caught his attention. But once the fun winds down, he’s just as happy curled up with his people, soaking up pets, cuddles, and attention. 😻🐈‍⬛

Best of all, Torch is cat, dog and child-friendly, making him a pretty fantastic addition to just about any family! He’s looking for a home where he can be his silly, playful kitten self, have plenty of toys to conquer, and grow into the amazing cat he’s meant to be. 🥰🤞

Our team is currently dealing with an animal medical emergency, and our immediate priority is making sure the animal receives the care and attention they need. ❤️‍🩹🐾

🤠🐶 Five puppies. Five personalities. One whole lot of chaos. 🐶🤠

Mae, Jolene, Cowboy, Reba, and Annie are only 7 weeks old, but somehow they've already taken over the place...and we’re not even mad about it! 😅🐕

There’s the sweet one, the wild one, the foodie, the little brother looking for trouble, and the tiny mastermind making sure everyone stays busy. Between wrestling matches, toy takeovers, full bellies, puppy naps and a whole lot of mischief, these five keep us smiling from morning to night. 😏🐎

And while they’re still busy being tiny and learning all about the world, we already know there are some pretty amazing little dogs growing up right in front of us. 🥹💘

For now, they’ve got each other, plenty of love, and a whole lot of growing to do. Something tells us this crew is going to keep us on our toes. 🥰✨
