But they definitely were worth it. With June being a sport dog, knowing that she is physically sound is very important, and so is having a baseline if she ever does hurt herself.

I wasn't really worried, but no signs of hip or elbow dysplasia, and her shoulders, spine and knees look great too!

Also they weren't actually $1500, that was the total bill including her spay as we got the xrays done while she was sedated for her spay surgery.

This was Junes first time camping and she did great! It was a wet rainy weekend full of mosquitos but we survived and had lots of fun regardless.

It was actually my first time tent camping with one of my dogs (we usually car camp or are on our race car trailer), and the first time ive pulled my tent out in like 8 years? Lol. I bought it for $50 when I was 18, not to age myself here 😬

It was our first time using the .outdoor sleeping pad and pillow they sent us and I was very impressed. It was comfy, almost big enough to fit both June and I, and most importantly packed down alot smaller than any other mattress or sleeping pad ive used because and our dogs had a very cozy drive lol. Im excited to see how well it holds up overtime, but I dont think there will be any issues.

Our other items, a $15 pawn shop sleeping bag - actually impressed, a camp stove i traded a coffee table for, an air pump from the thrift store, and more im sure.

I personally think her teeth might actually make it harder to guess, but I'm very curious of everyone's thoughts are.

I see WAY too often people running or biking their dogs in harness that dont fit properly.

So hopefully this is a good visual guide for you to see whether or not your harness actually fits your dog.

There are hundreds of different shapes and styles out there. I personally love a classic x back harness.

If there is a mushing club in your area people are typically more than willing to let you try on harnesses to see what fits your dog best!
