Willow Haven Life of Rylie

If you are seeking a Gypsy Cob that combines impressive stature, style, athletic ability, and a truly exceptional temperament, Rylie is the partner you have been looking for.

Rylie is a striking 3-year-old black tobiano gelding currently standing at 15.3hh, with an expected mature height of approximately 16hh. He possesses substantial bone, correct conformation, and displays natural, high-quality movement. His size and presence make him a standout, ensuring he will be noticed in any arena or on any trail.

Rylie is a product of our proven cross between Highland Phantom and North Fork Cash’s Doctor Who. We have repeated this breeding multiple times because it consistently produces horses with outstanding temperaments, significant size, and high trainability, all while strictly adhering to the Gypsy Cob breed standard. His pedigree is anchored by influential breed icons, including Hall of Fame stallion Clononeen Tumbleweed, Lion King, and Romney King.

Rylie is PSSM1 and FIS negative. He is current on all vaccinations and deworming, and he is good for the farrier.

Rylie is currently in professional training and is being started lightly under saddle. He has already established a solid foundation, showing great responsiveness at the walk and trot, smooth transitions, and a willing acceptance of leg aids. He is exceptionally light in the bridle and demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for learning. He has been introduced to trail obstacles and is preparing for his first short trail excursions.

Beyond his athleticism, Rylie possesses a remarkably sweet and inquisitive temperament. He is a pleasure to work with and is developing into a versatile horse capable of excelling as a show partner, a personal mount, or a dedicated family horse.

We are incredibly proud of the horse Rylie is becoming and look forward to seeing him reach his full potential. He is a fantastic example of the versatility and quality of this bloodline.
