The perfect fall hike this morning, crisp air, crunchy leaves and blue sky. The crew had light and playful energy which always makes for a fun adventure.
The puppies took it to the trail today where we practiced recall and did some exploring, they did great!
Miss Ulu strolled while Lumi sniffed and the day wrapped with the Danes who thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the sun!

The dogs were singing to each other on the way to the trailhead this morning, the van was filled with excitement.
We crushed a new section of trail and it felt like a massive accomplishment. Well done crew!
The afternoon crew enjoyed a sunny field for free running, rolls (I’m talking to you Violet) and all the sniffs they could handle.
Miss Ulu wrapped the day with some pep in her step on this fine and sunny afternoon.

We practiced silent recall at the end of the hike today. I literally stopped walking and waited for the dogs to return to me. One by one they stopped, looked back and made their way to me, without any commands. This crew is getting good!!

The afternoon Social Crew welcomed Lumi to her first leashed walk with them, it was absolutely chaos to start! Puppy energy and play all over the place while on leash is tricky business. The end result was worth the effort and I am so proud of them.

Miss Ulu and Sir Rudy had their walks and love today as well, a little more calm for those two! 🐾💕

Happy Thanksgiving Crew!

I am collecting donations for the Sula Society in Mexico. It’s a dog rescue and they are looking for leashes, collars, harnesses etc.
If you have any extras please let me know and I can arrange collection.

A quiet, peaceful, and calm crew this morning. The wind was present but not threatening. The sound of Havi’s bells, crunching gravel under foot and a faint jingle of collars kept us company.
Denise is building her relationship with the crew, sharing love and treats along the way with a watchful eye on crew dynamics.

Next Lumi came out for a couple adventures, first play time with Mr. Timber, they are so stinking cute together! Then a walk with Miss Ulu, also stinking cute together but this time she has to practice her leash manners!

The Danes finished my day with a yard visit, lotsa love (thanks Dukey) and a whole lot of slobber (thanks Kevin).

Happy Thanksgiving Crew, so very grateful for you all. 🐾💕

The crew left the gates running this morning, it felt like the Wild West!
So what did I do? I stopped. I played with my backpack. I took off my hoodie. I organized the leashes. Made them all check in and you know what? That did it! We continued on like a cohesive crew.

The afternoon social crew was a lot of fun, we met lots of people on the trail and the dogs all did great with friendly greetings and staying calm. (minus some puppy jumping, but we are working on that!) This crew is unique with our youngest member 5 months old and our oldest at 12 years!

The ladies walked with Miss Ulu, and to wrap the day Lumi met Rudy for a stroll.
These dogs are keeping me busy! 🐾💕

A beautiful hike this morning.
We adventured to the ridge trail where we practiced going slow, recall, and reminders to take it easy. Once we settled in to the new surroundings the crew did amazing and stuck close.
The afternoon social crew soaked up the sun and farm views with a local leashed walk.
Miss Ulu and I sauntered just the 2 of us today which is always lovely.
Rudy and I enjoyed the trail before snack and pets… he also showed me how strong he is! 🐾💕
