Notice: Changes to Ferry Schedule

Work will commenced on Fogo Island to complete an extension of the dock at Man-O-War cove. To facilitate this work one side of the dock will be shut down to allow the contractor to complete necessary work. It is expected this work to continue until March of 2027.

Effective September 29, 2026 the attached modified dock construction schedules will take effect for the remainder of the Summer schedule. The Astron W will overnight @ Change Islands. The changes to the schedule are as follows:
The Astron W 07:15 AM departure from Fogo Island will be cancelled. They will commence the day departing Change Islands @ 07:45 AM
The Veteran 07:00 AM departure from Fogo Island will stop at Change Islands if there is traffic for Change Islands
The Astron W will take its mid day break at Change Islands therefore the 12:15 PM departure is delayed until 2:00 PM
If there is traffic @ Change Islands to go to Fogo Island on the 8:15 PM scheduled departure the Astron W will complete that crossing and return to overnight at Change Islands. If not, they will remain at Change Islands after the 7:45 PM departure from Farewell

A coyote has been sited several times in area of Helipad, Granfers Cove and Codericks Cove.
Use Caution when walking and keep your pets safe.
Please do not feed and never leave edible garbage or pet food outside.
Wildlife has been notified.

Notice: Tuesday, Sept 15th

Please be advised the Sound of Islay will be departing Change Islands and is being dispatched to another service to allow that vessel to proceed to drydock.

Service will remain on the 2 Vessel Summer schedule utilizing Legionnaire & Astron W.

Notice:

Reminder that 2026 Municipal Taxes are now past due.
All municipal taxes are due in full by June 30th of the current year as per Town’s Tax Structure
For those in arrears please bring your account up to date as soon as possible.
Please note that continued non-payment will result in further action taken by the Town as permitted under the Municipalities Act.
