Everyone give a warm welcome to Alfie 🐶

He’s an adorable 16-week-old Cockapoo who came in to see Dr. Thom for his puppy vaccines yesterday! 💉

Alfie was equal parts brave, fluffy, and curious — with plenty of tail wags and puppy charm to brighten our day. He handled his visit like a champ and earned lots of cuddles from the team along the way. ❤️

We hope you have the best weekend, Alfie!

🐾 Friday Floofs at West Carleton 🐾

Say hello to Willow! 💕 This adorable 11-week-old Boxer puppy came in last week for her very first visit with us. She was all wiggles, curiosity, and puppy kisses as she had her check-up and received her vaccines.

Willow handled everything like a champ and made quite the impression on our team—we’re already looking forward to watching her grow! 🐶✨

Meet Frank 💙🐾

Frank, an adorable Maltese, first visited us at just 10 weeks old after a scary accident at home—his tiny foot got caught in a door. After a thorough exam, Dr. Kat took X-rays and discovered that poor little Frank had fractured 3 of the 4 toes on his front paw.

We placed his paw in a splint and started him on medications, along with strict rest (no easy task for a playful puppy!). Frank came back to see us frequently for splint changes and repeat radiographs so we could closely monitor his healing.

Through it all, Frank remained the happiest little patient. Even with his splint on, he never lost his excitement and always greeted our team with a wagging tail and bright spirit 🐶✨

We’re so happy to share that after about 6 weeks, Frank got the green light to return to normal puppy activities—his toes healed beautifully!

We absolutely loved watching Frank grow and recover, and we can’t wait to see him again (hopefully under less eventful circumstances 😉).

Our reception team does so much more than just answer the phones.
🐾They are the friendly faces who greet you (and your pets!)
🐾The calm voices during stressful moments
🐾The organizers behind the scenes making sure appointments, records, and communication all come together seamlessly.

They juggle emergencies, comfort worried pet owners, celebrate happy visits, and somehow keep everything on track with compassion and professionalism.

Their role is vital—not just to our team, but to every patient and client who walks through our doors. 🐶🐱

Thank you CSR’s for your patience, your kindness, and your dedication. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you 🐾

Meet Hazel 💛 — a 6-month-old Golden Retriever who came in to see us for her vaccines!

Let’s just say… sitting still for photos was not on Hazel’s agenda 😄 Between the wiggles, wags, and endless excitement, getting a clear picture was quite the challenge—but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

She kept us all smiling from start to finish and brought so much joy to the clinic today.

Way to go, Hazel—you were the best (and bounciest) girl! 🐶✨
