WARNING ‼️( sound on ) graphic content as 9 dogs and one man watch quietly as a mama and calf elk calmly walk away at about 50 feet in distance. This is why I choose to use leashes and am fairly strict on who I let off leash and when. All the dogs I walk with could be offleash, but on this day they would have kicked mama and calfs flight mode in for the rest of the day likely separating mama and calf These encounters happen more often than you would think… why else would I choose to do it the hard way….. what lessons have I learned 😉🙂❤️. I am a visitor in the Forrest and wildlife has the right of way to me. Respect the woods is respecting what lives there too 👍👍
