Back to school season officially starts this week for me 📚🐾

While Gryff is clearly handling the transition better than I am 🛞🐶, my response times may be a little slower than usual while I adjust to classes, studying, and my new routine again.

That said - pet care services are continuing as normal, and all current and upcoming clients remain a priority to me 💕

I’ll still be responding to inquiries, booking requests, and client updates - it just may take me a little longer than my usual speed some days. Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and understanding while I balance both school and the business I care so much about.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of my clients and followers, both new and old, for your support and for trusting me with your pets.

I’ve had a rise in new clients recently, and while I’m not totally sure what’s behind it, I do know how thankful I am for every single one of you.

I always try to be genuine and authentic in my posts and communication, because I truly believe that matters. When you’re leaving your pets in someone else’s care, you deserve to know who that person is. I hope my clients can see just how much I love their pets, and how seriously I take providing safe, quality care.

I was so happy to help Ashley out while she was away - making sure everything was taken care of so she could just relax and enjoy her trip.

Watch me give a subcutaneous injection to one of my dog walking clients, True! 💉🐾

True is a very nervous dog who typically requires sedation for vet visits, and restraint is not an option 🚫

Here I am using a low stress, restraint free technique that works well for anxious pets 💕

Since she is highly food motivated, I used peanut butter as a distraction. I start with the needle capped to gently test her reaction to handling and practice pokes. The goal is to avoid any fear response before introducing the actual injection.

Once she showed no reaction, I proceeded, and she only noticed me for the last 0.10 mL before going right back to her snack.

Because True struggles with vet visits, being able to safely give prescribed medications at home is very important for her care.

I'm really looking forward to the Horse Expo next weekend - I’ll be working for Dear Dog Treats at their booth!

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of their team for the weekend, and I’m genuinely excited to connect with everyone and share more about their products and everything they have to offer!

It’s one of those events that brings a lot of people together, and I always enjoy being part of that kind of environment. Between the horses, vendors, and everything going on, it’s shaping up to be a great weekend.

Coco is one of my pet sitting clients for the next little bit 🐾

As an English Springer Spaniel, she’s got energy to burn and a brain that loves to work!

Since Coco prefers her own space and isn’t a fan of other dogs, dog parks are a no-go — so we headed out to the country for the perfect private adventure 🌾

An hour of fetch, exploring, sniffing, and of course… getting very muddy 😅

She had the best time — right up until we pulled into Pet Valu for a bath to wash away the evidence of her fun 😂🛁

A quick health update for my clients!

I’ve been under the weather with what appears to be strep throat, but thankfully the antibiotics have been doing their job and I’m already feeling much better.
