And just like that, Paradise Junior’s final foal from the 2025 breeding season has arrived. 🖤

And what a beautiful little filly to finish the season with! She has the sweetest, refined little head, a lovely high set neck, long legs and a naturally uphill, athletic build. She has such an elegant, sporty look while still showing plenty of substance through her hindquarter. We absolutely love the balance and refinement in this girl already. 😍

She is out of a beautiful and amazingly tempered older grey Quarter Horse mare, so we’ll be watching closely to see if she eventually turns grey too. 👀

A HUGE congratulations to her owners on this very special girl. 🥂

Formally introducing our Gentle Giant and Founding Father of MJ Friesians... Ragnar. 🖤

Ragnar is our 6 year old 18.2hh Percheron Gelding and the biggest horse we currently own.

We purchased Ragnar as an untouched wild weanling, back when he was just a mere 15.1hh 😝. We put a 30 day start on this guy as a 4 year old and he hasn't been ridden since. He couldn't have cared less about having MJ jump on him this afternoon and acted as if he had never missed a day.

Ragnar will always hold an incredibly precious place in our hearts. He is a giant love bug! ❤️

This boy underwent three OCD surgeries within the first two years of his life, and at just four years old, he was diagnosed with Shivers. At this point, he’s probably on his fourth or fifth life, and it has been one hell of an emotional roller coaster getting him here.

Ragnar will shake your hand (literally 😂), follow us absolutely anywhere, even into places he definitely has no business being, and somehow manages to get himself into the most ridiculous and completely avoidable situations imaginable. But somewhere along the way, he’ll steal your heart too.

This guy went through hell in his first few years of life. There were plenty of times we wondered what his future would look like if he even made it, but here he stands, all grown up, gorgeous, sound, and still going strong despite the vets prognosis and despite everything life has thrown at him.

Our boy is not a quitter. ❤️

✨ CHAMPION FILLY - MJ Gunnhilds Pride ✨

We are incredibly proud to share that our filly Pride earned a 1st Premie, and took home Champion Filly and Reserve Champion Youth at today’s Barock Pinto Inspection! 🏆🖤

We named this special girl Pride because that is exactly what we feel every time we look at her — and today, she gave us even more reason to live up to her name.

Beyond her results, we couldn't have asked for better behaviour from her today. She handled the entire experience with an incredible mind and represented herself beautifully from start to finish. For a young filly in a brand-new environment, we were every bit as proud of her temperament as we were of her results.

Thankyou to the entire BPANA team for having us and a huge Congratulations to all of the other winners, there were some truly beautiful horses in attendance. We are so excited to attend next year and to see what the future holds for our Pride! ❤️

Wicher is one of those young horses that makes us so excited for the future. 🖤

At just three years old, he is still very much growing into himself, but there is already so much to love! Wicher is expected to mature to 17hh, he currently stands 16.2hh! One of our absolute favourite qualities is his incredibly short back! Especially on such a big, tall Friesian. That kind of compactness can be incredibly difficult to find in a Friesian with his size and modern frame, and if you know us, you know how important a short strong back is to us and our breeding goals. It is genuinely a make or break quality when we're selecting stallions for our program.

Then there is the movement. Wicher has incredible natural power and elevation, with an athleticism that continues to impress us. He has stamina for days, and an intelligent, willing mind that makes him extremely trainable.

We are also very excited to share that Wicher is now dual registered with both KFPS and BPANA, opening another exciting chapter for his future.

Perhaps the best part is knowing that this is still a three-year-old horse!! He has so much maturing and developing left to do, and we aren't even close to looking at the finished product yet!
