Watermelon For Dogs!🍉🐾

Hydration – Watermelon is about 92% water, so it can help keep dogs hydrated, especially during hot Alberta summer days.

Low in calories – It’s a lighter treat option compared to many commercial dog treats.

Vitamins and nutrients – Watermelon contains:

* Vitamin A for eye and skin health.
* Vitamin C to support the immune system.
* Vitamin B6 which helps with brain function and metabolism.
* Potassium which supports muscles and nerves.

Contains antioxidants – Compounds like lycopene and beta-carotene may help protect cells from damage.

Fiber for digestion – A small amount of fiber can support healthy digestion and regular bowel movements
