🎄🐾 December Pawdicure Update! 🐾🎄

December is looking a little different around here this year! Between our family vacation and Christmas, I’ll only have 8 appointment days available — but I’ve squeezed in 1 Saturday + 2 Sundays to help get all those little paws Christmas ready! 🎅🏼💅🏼

I’m starting to pre-book December appointments NOW! ❤️ I’ll also be booking into January so we can plan ahead and keep everyone on schedule.

Some pups may even be able to skip December completely and roll into January, depending on when their appointment falls!

So if I’m asking you to book waaaay earlier than usual… this is why 😂🎄

Only 8 days, lots of paws & a little Christmas magic — we’ll make it happen! 🐾✨❤️

This weekend has me feeling a little extra emotional 🥹💗

One year ago, we brought home Miss Rosie, and tomorrow we celebrate Miss Willow’s birthday.

It’s crazy how these little four-legged babies walk into your life and somehow take up such a huge piece of your heart. They become part of the family so effortlessly that you forget what life even looked like before them.

Rosie and Willow have given our family so much more than we could ever give back to them. Endless love. Constant companionship. Belly laughs. Comfort on the hard days. Excitement on the good days. And about a million little everyday moments that wouldn’t be the same without them. 🐾

Truly two of the best additions to our family and two little souls I will forever be thankful for.

Happy gotcha weekend, Rosie, and happy birthday, Willow. We love you girls endlessly. 🥹🐶💗

🐾 Price Update 🐾

Going forward, my mobile nail trim pricing will be:

🐶 $35 call-out fee for the first dog
🐶 $30 for each additional dog from the same household

Every nail trim appointment includes:
✔️ Nail trim
✔️ Dremel/grinding
✔️ Paw pad shave
✔️ Basic ear cleaning (when needed)

This small price adjustment allows me to continue providing convenient, one-on-one mobile service while maintaining the quality of care your pups deserve.

Thank you to all of my amazing clients for supporting my small business. Your trust and loyalty mean the world to me, and I’m so grateful to care for your furry family members. ❤️

📍 I’m still accepting new nail trim clients and would love to welcome some new pups to the Grooming With Tamara family!

✨ Client spotlight + treat spotlight! 🧡🐾

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know not only amazing pups, but also the incredible businesses behind them.

I’m lucky enough to groom the sweetest boy, Oso, and his family happens to be the creators of Simply Oso! 🐶 Their Cock-A-Doodle Chews and Moo-Moo-Munchies are made in Alberta, Canada, packed with natural collagen, and are a great high-value reward your pup will love.

Supporting local businesses that genuinely care about dogs is something I’m always happy to do. Thank you for trusting me with Oso—he’s always such a pleasure to have in the trailer! 🖤

If you’d like to give these treats a try, use my code TAMARA10 to save 10% off your order! 🧡 https://linktr.ee/Tamaraspicks

One of the hardest parts of owning a small business is saying goodbye.

Today I had to say goodbye to one of my favourite clients, Lucy, and her amazing mom, Sara, as they’re moving away. ❤️

When I first met Lucy about a year ago, nail trims were incredibly scary for her. She was nervous, unsure, and every appointment took patience, trust, and lots of figuring out what worked best for her. Together, we learned her triggers, celebrated every little win, and relied on lots of praise and high-value rewards.

Today, Lucy jumps into the trailer, hops up on the table, and stands beautifully for her nail trim and Dremel. Watching that transformation has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

Sara, thank you for trusting me with Lucy and for putting in the work between appointments. Teamwork truly made all the difference.

To the groomers who have the pleasure of meeting Lucy next: please be kind and patient with her. She’s come such a long way, and she deserves every bit of encouragement. I know she’s going to do amazing.

Wishing you both nothing but happiness in your new adventure. I’ll miss seeing your names on my schedule. 💕🐾
