I get asked all the time what products I use, recommend, or buy for my own dogs, so I figured it was time to put everything in one place! 🐾

I’ve created an Amazon storefront with some of my favourite grooming tools, treats, enrichment toys, pet products, and even a section for client favourites.

Grooming With Tamara has made it to the second round of the Jobber Grants!

This little trailer started with an idea, a lot of hard work, and a husband who believed in me every step of the way. No matter what happens next, I’m proud of how far we’ve come and thankful for every client who’s helped make it possible. 🐾

Looking back, it honestly blows my mind how many opportunities and events have come my way simply through word of mouth, networking, and a genuine love for what I do 🐾🤍

From being invited to events, making amazing connections, supporting local businesses, and giving back to the community — to helping transport dogs from overcrowded/kill shelters to safety and better futures… it’s been such a reminder of why I love what I do so much. 🥹

Every opportunity has shown me that hard work truly does pay off, and when you care deeply, show up, and lead with kindness, people notice.

I’m so incredibly grateful to be part of a community that supports each other, trusts me with their pets, and has allowed me to be part of something bigger than myself. 🫶

Just a little reminder: if you love something, go for it. You never know where it might take you ✨

✨ What makes Grooming With Tamara a little different? ✨

When I come to your home, I’m not just popping by for a quick nail trim and heading out. 🐾

Every nail trim appointment includes:
✔️ Nail trim + Dremel (when tolerated for smoother, shorter nails)
✔️ Paw pad shave & clean up to help with comfort, traction & overall paw health
✔️ Ear cleaning/check over + a quick look at teeth, paws, and overall condition

Why? Because paws, ears, and teeth can actually tell us SO much about your dog’s health.

Overgrown paw pads can affect comfort and mobility, ears can sometimes show early signs of irritation or infection, and teeth can be a clue that it may be time for a closer look or vet visit. While I’m not a vet, after 9+ years in grooming I’ve seen a lot, and I truly believe these little check-ins matter. 💛

My goal is always comfort, care, and helping your dog feel their best — not just getting in and out as quickly as possible.

☀️ Summer closure dates ☀️

With summer almost here and the kids being home, we’ll be taking a few long weekends to slow down and spend some extra family time 💛

All of our closed dates are listed in this post — make sure to take a peek and plan ahead if your pup is due for a trim! 🐶✂️

Spots around these dates will fill up quicker than usual, so I definitely recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out

I’m asking for a small moment of your time to support something that means so much to me 🤍🐾

This rescue has not only helped so many dogs over the years… but they’ve also supported me in my journey more than I can explain. Trusting me with the pups that come into the facility, welcoming me into their world, and allowing me to be part of something so meaningful — it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

They are currently in the running to receive a grant, and the deadline to vote is March 31 🙌
