Professional home-based dog grooming in Canyon Meadows, Calgary. 18 years’ experience, Fear Free Certified & Alberta Force Free Alliance member. Hello there!

One-on-one grooming for dogs up to 30 lbs. Not accepting new clients; join my waitlist at theclassycanine.ca. My name is Robyn, and I am the proud owner of The Classy Canine - Grooming Studio based from my home. I am thrilled to be back in the grooming industry after taking a three-year break to explore a different career in finance. While that experience was valuable, I realized that my true passion lies in working with dogs and providing them with the best possible care. I am excited to announce that I have opened my own grooming business from the comfort of my home. I am committed to providing the highest quality of care for your furry friends, using only the best grooming techniques and equipment. As I rebuild my clientele, I want to assure you that I am dedicated to providing personalized attention to each pet and their unique needs. I am not just a groomer, but a pet lover who understands the importance of creating a positive grooming experience for dogs and their owners. Please note that I will be taking on a limited number of clients at a time to ensure that each pet receives the attention and care they deserve. Once my clientele is built up, I will stop taking new clients to ensure that I can maintain the same high standards of care. Thank you for considering me as your pet's groomer. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon!

🐾 My little client Maisie is missing. 🐾 YYC Pet Recovery

I'm sharing this on behalf of her family and would appreciate any shares to help bring her home.

Maisie is a 10-year-old Yorkie who went missing in Somerset around 10:43 PM on September 24th after being let out into her family's gated yard before bed. Despite searching for hours, she has not been found.

She is a small tan and grey Yorkie with one ear up, one ear slightly floppy, and cloudy eyes.

Please check your yards, sheds, garages, under decks, and bushes. She may be scared and hiding nearby.

If you have seen Maisie or have any information, please call or text:

She deserves a permanent spot on my feed today. ❤️🐾

Happy 15th Birthday to Honey, the heart and soul behind The Classy Canine and beloved business mascot.

Today feels extra special. Five years ago, Honey was diagnosed with heart disease, and at the time I never imagined we'd still be celebrating this incredible milestone together. Every single day since then has felt like a gift.

She has been by my side through so many chapters of life and business, greeting clients, supervising grooms, and reminding me to slow down and appreciate the little moments. Her sweet spirit, resilience, and unconditional love continue to amaze me every day.

I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to still have her with me in her golden years. Every cuddle, every tail wag, and every day we get together is a blessing I never take for granted.

Happy 15th Birthday, Honey. Thank you for being my best friend, my little shadow, and the face of The Classy Canine. I love you more than words can say.

🐾 A little booking reminder! 🐾

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm already booking into October!

If your pup is on a regular grooming schedule, now is the perfect time to pre-book your next appointments to make sure you get your preferred day and time.

🎄 Christmas appointments also fill up incredibly fast every year, so if you'd like your pup looking their best for the holidays, I'd recommend booking sooner rather than later!

⬇️ I'll post my online booking link in the comments below. If you have any questions or can't find a time that works, just send me a message I'm always happy to help!

✨ Bindy got her spa day glow-up! ✨

Sometimes the cutest pups are so busy being adorable that I forget to grab a before photo... and Bindy was one of those days! 😅

Thank you, Bindy, for being such a sweetheart.

🐾 Considering Becoming a Client? 🐾

As my schedule continues to fill, I will only be accepting a handful of new clients who are the right fit for my grooming environment and scheduling structure.

I've put together a blog post that explains what I'm looking for in new clients, how my booking process works, and what to expect before submitting a New Client Intake Form.

Please take a few minutes to read it before applying:

🤍
I’m dealing with a sudden family emergency and may need to adjust or reschedule some appointments. I will be confirming with each of you individually as soon as I know more.

Right now I’m not in my usual headspace, and that alone is enough to impair focus, patience, and emotional regulation ,all things grooming work relies on. Because of that, I need to be careful about what I can safely take on over the next few weeks.

I want to be honest about my limits while I’m going through this. My mental state is very sensitive right now, so I’m not able to take on dogs with significant grooming-related behavioural challenges at the moment. Anxious or more difficult grooms require more emotional capacity, and I’m just not in a place to take that on fully right now.

I really appreciate your understanding and kindness during this time.

If you need anything appointment-related or want to book, feel free to text me anytime

Absolutely the cutest lineup of pups that week!

✨ April 20–26 Grooming Recap ✨

A little late posting this one, but here’s a look at some of the sweet pups I had in last week

I didn’t manage to grab photos of everyone (it was a busy one 😅), but I’m so grateful for each and every dog that came through
