We know very well, what happens when we’re down a rescue vehicle. Things first come to halt, then we have to be very creative because the community needs us, then we have to find a way to get fixed up and keep moving. Our community rallies behind us and we hope you’ll also rally behind Canadian Animal Task Force as their remote clinic season is well underway.
When people think about animal welfare, they usually picture the animals.
We do too.
But before we can reach a single animal, our team has to reach the community — or meet people where they’re at. 🐶🐱🚐
That means hauling roughly 22,000 pounds of clinic equipment across Alberta. It means long days on the road, early departures, late arrivals, and vehicles that work just as hard as the people behind the wheel.
Right now, the wear and tear has taken its toll of one of our primary transport vans. It alone needs extensive work done including repairs.
Keeping our fleet road-safe means keeping veterinary care accessible.
It means continuing to reach communities, support families, respond to animals in need, and deliver programs where they matter most.
If you’d like to help us keep moving forward, we’d be grateful for your support.

Tires are just one example of the many costs that come with operating heavily used vehicles year-round. Routine maintenance, repairs, oil changes, inspections, brakes, and unexpected mechanical issues all add up over time.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our current service providers, whose generosity and discounts help ensure our fleet is ready to roll on the next mission.
Every dollar invested is especially valuable, as they help cover ongoing maintenance and operating costs that ensures our vehicles are reliable and our team can continue reaching the communities and animals who count on these programs.
