🐐 The Malinois GOAT at the 2026 CWDF National Championship! 🇨🇦

And he is none other than Fox Hill’s A’Harry, a son of Expat’s Bronson × Christie vom Esadera, trained and handled by our dear friend Monique Anstee. ❤️

I’ll never forget the journey Harry had to make during COVID—from the USA, across borders and all the way to the other side of Canada—to finally be united with Monique. It certainly wasn’t easy, but seeing the two of them at the Nationals makes every bit of that effort feel worth it.

So incredibly proud of this team. Congratulations, Monique and Harry, and congratulations to Harry’s breeder! 🏆🐾

What a journey. What a team. ❤️

Today was a big day for two Expat boys. ❤️🐾

After spending a few extra months here in Canada, they finally got to meet their new owners from the USA and start the next chapter of their lives. 🇨🇦➡️🇺🇸

As a breeder, days like this are always a mix of emotions. You raise them, watch them grow, worry about them, make plans for them… and then eventually you have to let them go and hope you chose the right people to continue their journey.

These two boys were so lucky to spend their extra time in Canada with two amazing foster mums who truly cared for them like their own. They weren’t just “waiting” for their new homes — they were loved, included in everyday life, taken on adventures and given so many experiences along the way.

Stephanie and Ann, I really can’t thank you enough. ❤️ You both opened your homes and your hearts to these boys, gave them your time, patience and love, and I know saying goodbye wasn’t easy. Knowing they were genuinely loved and cared for meant so much to me.

And then, on top of everything else, you both made the long trip to personally deliver your boys to their new owners. Thank you for everything you did for them. I truly appreciate it more than I can say. ❤️

Now it’s time for the next adventure!

Wishing Mary Rippel and Expat’s Giddy Up Cowboy, aka Lucian,
and Chris Busch and Expat’s Glenn lots of fun, adventures and success in the years ahead.

I’m also so excited to see what the future brings for both of them.

Go make me proud, boys. ❤️🐾

As the CWDF 2026 IGP National Championship begins this weekend, I would like to wish the very best of luck to two teams competing with dogs from our breeding program.

🐾 Rick Janicki and Expat’s Bergerac
🐾 Sue Nesbitt and Expat’s Casper

Watching dogs I have bred reach this level of competition is always special. Behind every championship appearance are years of training, commitment, perseverance, and a strong partnership between dog and handler. The journey to get there is never easy, which makes the achievement all the more meaningful.

Thank you, Rick and Sue, for the dedication you have put into these dogs and for giving them the opportunity to showcase their abilities on the national stage. I couldn’t be prouder to see Bergerac and Casper representing Expat Malinois at this event.

Wishing you clear tracks, confident obedience, strong protection work, and a championship experience you’ll always remember. Enjoy every moment!

Good luck and safe travels! 🇨🇦🍀🐾

🎉 Congratulations to Faye Arlene Guest and Missy on earning their IGP 2 title under judge Deb Krsnich with scores of **93-88-98** and **High in Protection!** 🏆💪

This was a wonderful performance from a truly inspiring team. Faye came to the sport of IGP later in life, first training and trialing with her beloved Doberman, Zena, who was sadly lost to a cardiac condition. Not ready to give up on her goals, she decided to take on the challenge of a Malinois, and we were delighted to entrust her with Expat’s D’Aramiss (Expat’s Birka x Iason du Domaine de Louxor).

Missy has grown into exactly the kind of dog Faye hoped for—a powerful, substantial, beautiful female who is always ready to work. Together, they have built a partnership based on trust, dedication, and countless hours on the training field.

What makes this achievement especially remarkable is that Faye continues to pursue one of the most physically and mentally demanding dog sports at a stage in life when many people choose to slow down. Handling a strong, energetic Malinois through the challenges of tracking, obedience, and protection work requires commitment, determination, and grit. Faye proves that passion for learning and working with dogs doesn't come with an age limit.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful to have been part of their journey. ❤️

Congratulations, Faye and Missy—you have earned every point of this title! 🎊🐕🏅

What a wonderful way to start the trial season! 🐾🔥

As a breeder, there are few things more rewarding than watching puppies you’ve bred grow into capable working dogs and, even more importantly, become true partners to their handlers.

A huge congratulations to Expat’s Exodus (Birka x Bravo) and Cheyenne Boulanger on earning their first full IGP 1 title with scores of 88-96-97 under judge Deb Krsnich.

What makes me most proud is not just the title or the scores, but the relationship these two have built together. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to one another are evident every time they step onto the field. Titles are earned through training, but great teams are built through trust, consistency, and countless hours spent working together.

I am incredibly proud of both of you and grateful to have a small part in your journey. I look forward to watching this team continue to develop and achieve great things in the future.

Congratulations, Cheyenne and Ex. This is a title to be proud of, and I know it’s only the beginning. ❤️🏆
