It is my goal to help owners train their dogs so less dogs end up abandoned or taken to a shelter, due to behaviour issues or lack of training. I offer a non-intrusive approach to training dogs, making a Pawsitive Difference for both dogs and owners. My goal is to set up both dogs and owners to be successful. I am also planning on opening my own Rescue Dog shelter and Rehabilitation Centre when I
can. I used to volunteer for the HBSPCA, and enjoyed every day I was there helping and working with these rescues. I have worked for many months training my own dogs. I have voluntered and helped out at with our local Shelters. I completed a dog training course to teach basic dog cues to their owners. Cues include: sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, heel, come, focus, let's go, stand, up, leave it, take it, wait and fetch. I also teach loose leash walking, as well as problem solving for house training issues, inappropriate chewing, inappropriate jumping, nipping and mouthing, begging at the table, stealing food, and other unruly behaviours at home. Also took another course on Dog Reactivity. I am available for private lessons during the daytime. Weekend sessions can be set up to work with your schedule. Dog training is a life long commitment. Patience and persistence are needed. Training can be fun for both dogs and owners. Prices; SPECIAL right now on Private lessons; 6 weeks $200.00 plus tax. Or $35 plus tax per lesson. 1 hour lesson each week, in town. SPECIAL right now $25.00 plus tax each 1 hour lesson each week. Customers can contact me anytime with any questions or concerns with their training. I am available to help out and support if they have any new concerns even after our training is completed. As training and bonding with the pets we love is an ongoing commitment. When I'm out doing errands I often come across people who want training but can't really afford it. I offer free training in person when I'm chatting to people, as well as over the phone. If I can help in anyway, this helps alot of people get started, or helps in the mean time with there training at home. As long as they are consistent, things will always improve. No matter what kind of a day we have, our dogs are always there to greet us with a happy look and a wagging tail to say they love us and are happy to see us.
