The bestest boy for his jump school tonight. 🥰
Moving everything into the indoor this week sure changes the game a little! Turns are tighter, fences come up faster.
It is a good thing Beans is so compact and handy, like a little sports car!

It is time to vaccinate our broodmares! 💉

Tis the season for Rhino vaccines, given at 5, 7, 9 months gestation to protect our broodmares against EHV-1 which can cause fetal loss & abortions during later term gestation.

We try to take every step we can to maximum our success in putting healthy foals on the ground each season. 🍼

A good ride on Dolly tonight. 😃✨️

Alameda Acres China Doll
14.1hh riding pony mare (half welsh) by the Sec B stallion Alvesta Sol Invictus

This little lady is still super green but she goes reliably walk/trot at this point with just a handful of rides spread out over the last few months. She has been sensible and honest under saddle thus far. She currently thinks trot poles are for jumping - in which I love the enthusiasm 😅

Dolly is in foal to Cool Down for 2027 and will likely become available to find her person at some point down the line.
I would like to have her going solidly WTC, over fences and on the trails before prioritizing a sale effort. This will give me the best opportunity to match her with the right person. I think she would be better off going on to have a riding career instead of sticking around our broodmare herd long term. There is a nice sporty mare here who just needs to be put into a program and polished up. 🤩

I am going to try to get her bumped up the line and worked with more regularly over the next few months!

Daddy’s Girl? 🤭
Chanel is just as naturally gifted over fences as her rocket pony sire. 🚀
She also has the absolute best, almost lazy, ammy friendly personality.
A real Topanga 2.0 edition - but even nicer quality!
I can tell this pony is going to be both fancy and easy, just like her parents.
A true diamond in the making. 💎✨🖤

Cover Girl TY
Cool Down X Decadence D’Or (Deja D’Or)
Smoky Black 2026 Westfalen GRP filly

*Rare Hypoallergenic Traits*
In addition to her spot pony pedigree this filly comes directly from our KRT25 curly line. While she herself does not appear to have inherited curls, she absolutely has what Curly breeders describe as “bunny fur” - she is as soft as a bunny to touch. Perhaps we should have named her Cashmere but I have been saving that name for a Curly “C” filly. 🤩
The science behind the reason why is unknown at this time but many allergy sufferers have reportedly found the smooth coated offspring from a Curly parent to still have hypoallergenic properties compared to the reactions they have with “normal” horses.
Test trials of course are always recommended to confirm the right fit for each individual.

To be quite frank, I would not be upset to watch Cover Girl TY grow up here with us. The absolute right home will be a must for us to let her go.

We do have a second version of this pairing on the way for 2027 🥰

Cool Dude TY 2026 Westfalen KDR C**t
Cool Down X Spiritofthedance

“Elegant” was the word most used to describe him during his inspection and elegant he sure is!

For the person looking for that classic hunter with style and grace, he is your guy. Dude is long legged with a ground covering stride and shows ease over the handful of small fences we tried him on. The sporty Thoroughbred influence in his breeding sure shines through both his athletic type and born to please character. This kid is destined for the show ring. 🏆

There is definitely a part of me who wants to hold the 2026 kids back to develop here at home before sending them off into the world however they are available if the perfect homes come along.
If all the Beans kids are as easy as these foals have been then we will be thrilled, these foals have only had a sliver of the handling time that most go through and yet they are both cool as cucumbers and seem completely “born broke”.
Honestly, my only complaint about these foals is how freaking difficult it is to get them jazzed up to show off for nice photos and videos.
Gucci they are not. 🫠🤭

Our Barbie dream horse will start doing a little more regular ground work to prepare him for a start under saddle in 2027.

He is such a fun kid, very intelligent, learns fast and wants to be interactive.
Once he knows a task he is very happy to do it. ✨️🦄

Yeewhoo
The boys each got some free arena time to play and wear some energy out.
Their paddocks are so miserable after the rain and snow that they have spent the last week very stationary. They were both due for a run around on good footing. So much fun they had! ✨️
