🎄✨ Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! ✨🎄

To all of my wonderful clients — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of you, I get to do what I love every single day, and I’m endlessly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️🐾

A little January Update 💛

After a very full and busy season, I’ll be taking the month of January off to slow down, rest, and recharge. I’ll be back at it for February. If I do get any texts or messages, I will respond once I’m back. ☺️ Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

I’ll be reaching out a few days before I’m back to work to personally confirm up coming appointments and get those sweet pups back on their schedules. 🐶💛

Thank you for always supporting my small business and trusting me with your fur babies — it truly means more than I can ever express.

Cheers to an amazing 2026 filled with love, wagging tails, and happy paws! 💫❤️🐾

Hey everybody!! 👋🏻

Christmas is right around the corner, so I wanted to touch base about December’s schedule. 🎄

I’m kindly asking all my amazing clients to make sure drop-offs and pick-ups are right on time. I don’t have much wiggle room between pups this year—everyone needs to be fresh and clean for Santa Paws! 🎅🐾

With the schedule so packed, I won’t be able to accommodate late arrivals this month. If you’re more than 10 minutes past your appointment time (and haven’t checked with me first to see if it’s possible), I’ll have to reschedule and add you to a waitlist, with no guarantee your pup will get in. 😞 I’m usually pretty flexible, but this year I’ve really outdone myself booking in all your fabulous pups! 😆😆

If you haven’t received your appointment details yet, just reach out—thank you so much!

Xoxo,
your pup’s favourite groomer ❤️

It’s important to find the right groomer for your dog, because grooming isn’t just about baths and haircuts. It’s so much more.

Dog grooming is treating every dog as a soul — because they are.

Dog grooming is being an advocate for their health. Owners see their dogs every day, and sometimes they miss the subtle changes — a lump under the skin, a shift in weight, a sore spot they’ve been hiding. Groomers notice.

Dog grooming is talking to and reassuring those scared pups as if they were children — because in many ways, they are. They depend on you to be kind, calm, and patient when the world feels big and loud.

Dog grooming is earning trust over time — sometimes months, sometimes years — to help a single dog feel safe in your care. It’s celebrating the little victories: the first time they let you trim their nails without a fuss, or rest their head on your shoulder instead of flinching.

Dog grooming is setting your own emotions aside when you walk into the salon. Dogs are sponges. If you’re stressed, they feel it — and they’ll carry that stress with them on the table.

Dog grooming is going home with an aching back because you bathed a nervous pup on the floor instead of forcing them into a tub they weren’t ready for.

It’s trimming around arthritic joints slowly, gently, because you know it hurts — and you care.

It’s adjusting your comfort to meet theirs — always.

It’s risking a bite because the dog is scared or reactive, and still speaking to them with compassion instead of frustration.

It’s forming bonds with dogs that run deeper than most people realize. They may not live in your home, but they live in your heart.

It’s grieving with their owners when they pass — because they were a part of your world, too.

Dog grooming is dirty, exhausting, physical, emotional, unpredictable — and absolutely beautiful.

It is love in its purest form.

This isn’t just my job.
This is my heart.
This is my life.
This is what I was meant to do. ❤️

WHAT YOU DON'T SEE AT THE DOG GROOMERS.......
You dropped your dog off at the salon and picked them up few hours later - fluffy, fresh, and happy. But what you saw was just the tip of the iceberg.

You didn’t see your groomer arrive early to open up the salon, disinfect tools, lay out fresh towels, and check the day’s appointments. You didn’t see them look over your dog from nose to tail before even lifting a brush - checking the coat condition, skin, eyes, ears, nails, and weight.

You didn’t see the careful way they clipped around a wriggly paw, or how they paused to let your dog calm down during the bath. You didn’t notice the matting hidden beneath your dog’s topcoat, or the way the groomer worked slowly to avoid hurting the skin beneath it.

You weren’t there when they spotted a red patch of irritated skin, or a small lump you hadn’t noticed. You heard them gently mention it to you at collection - not to worry you, but because they genuinely care about your dog’s wellbeing.

And after you left, you didn’t see the clean-down , the floor swept, tables cleaned, blades oiled, messages replied to, notes written up for your next visit, and laundry on again.

All of that… for a price that’s often lower than what you’d pay for your own haircut. And your hairdresser?
They don’t have to bathe you, clip your nails, or hold you still while you try to bite the brush.

The truth is ……. dog grooming is so much more than a haircut.

It’s about health, hygiene, comfort, and trust. It’s about knowing dog anatomy, coat types, skin conditions, behaviour management, handling skills, and safe sc******ng techniques. It’s a profession that takes training, practice, and patience.
Most groomers got into this work because they love dogs. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be paid fairly for the physical, emotional, and skilled work they do every single day.

If your dog leaves their groomer happy, healthy and looking good - it’s not by luck. It’s because you have got a good groomer.
So next time, take a moment to thank them. Leave a review.

Tip them if you can. And above all - don’t undervalue them.
They’re doing far more than just washing the dog.
