If you’ve been considering adding a puppy to your life, consider this little lady!

Our local vet clinic has this 13 week old Lab puppy available for adoption after she was surrendered.

I don’t know the puppy, or breeding or history but will connect serious interested people with the clinic for more information.

A breeder can purpose breed purebreds AND support rescue at the same time 😉

He was such a good boy, exceeding expectations and a true unicorn in the making with his willingness, sweet temperament and easy going attitude. What an absolute superstar Solo was yesterday! His first real dressage test in the books and we are so proud of how he’s come along the last few weeks with Megan in preparation for the Summer Alhambra Horse Trial. Some greenie moments to be expected but he put in a solid sensible effort moving into a big show environment, new stabling, leaving his friends, riding through the site, just walking right along…while calling to everyone he met 😂

The rest of the weekend, with cross country tomorrow and show jumping on Sunday, is just icing on the cake regardless of results.

Goal = keep it positive and have fun

I may have been a smidge 🥹 …milestone moment for us to ride and compete a horse we bred. Huge thanks to Teshia for helping make that happen 💗

No love for Stella in the ring today at the Edmonton Kennel Club but at least we made it today!! Congrats to all the winners! Tomorrow is a new day!

A doozie of a storm had some of our fantastic old trees meet their maker. We have some fence damage and a whole lot of work ahead in the next week or so! I wonder if I can convince hubby to make some into cross country jumps…or dog obstacles 🤔 Roy and the girls sure enjoyed a good game a keep away through under and over the 3 downed trees! 🌲

So grateful no one was hurt! And extra grateful for wonderful neighbours that were quick to help clear the road of one of the trees last night!

What a gift of an evening! Minimal mosquitoes compared to what we have been dealing with…it’s the first evening in a long while the horses have been able to calmly graze instead of pace the night away!
