This year my property has been over run by monarch butterflies! 🦋🧡
We’ve had so many caterpillars the kids and I have been collecting them, watching them grow and change, then releasing them!
We’ve already hatched and released 8 but I have another 8 currently in the chrysalis stage!
It’s and awesome experience! Everyone with kids should try it at least once!
Oh and fun fact! The way to tell the difference between male and female with monarchs is their wing pattern! The males have thinner black lines and a single black dot on either bottom wing. The females have thicker more bold black lines and no dots! 🦋🧡🌻

This is Peach and Pickle 🥒🍑! I’ve been stopping in to feed/water them for the last few days while their owners were away. I was told “you likely won’t ever see them, and they’re terrified of strangers so I don’t think you’d be able to touch them even if you did see them”… well this is day 3! And peach came down for some love!
Her sister was SOOO confused and soooo funny staring at me wide eyed.. she started watching me at the top through the railing and eventually showed up like this… hahaa I haven’t gotten the chance to touch her yet! But I made great progress with peach!!🍑

Today I got a call from a friend who said she heard something splashing around in the bottom of her tall planter as she was watering the hanging basket above it, she was to timid to look in the planter but knew I’d drive over to help save any little creature I could!
So it turned out to be a very wet, bloated and very cold little chipmunk. I couldn’t leave her there because she was in shock and sooo cold. I wrapped her up in a towel and brought her home, gave her some raw honey to get her sugar levels up, kept her wrapped up in warm towels and then offered her the sunflower seed/ peanut mixture of bird food I had, she was fairly happy really started to perk up.

After a while she was dry and warm enough I could let her go with her cheeks full of food. Hopefully the current resident chipmunks accept her into their family so that she survives and I can see her again! 😍🥹🐿️. Never a dull moment in my life I tell ya! 😅❤️🌼🐿️

Today’s mission included saving a chipmunk from drowning! I named her marigold 🌼 hopefully this sweet baby continues to thrive, she was still a bit cold and wet when she decided to run away ❤️🥹. Maybe if I’m lucky she’ll come back and take treats from us like all the rest of the chipmunk friends we have on the property 🐿️.

Meet Daisy Mae! 🐇🐰

Daisy Mae is 7 years old and living a first class lifestyle in her own ROOM! Daisy Mae is the “sister” to Mr Buck I posted a few days ago!

Daisy is super spoiled and loved by her family so much! She has complete freedom of her own room, (aka her moms office 🙂) She can run around and stretch her legs while also getting to enjoy snuggles from her mom while her mom does some work 😊

I got to take care of her as well when I would visit Mr Buck and Miss Daisy Mae started following me around the room by the end of the week lol she’s super loving and an adorable bun bun! 🐰🐇❤️

Ahhh chickens are honestly the best! If you’ve never had the pleasure of bonding with a bird, you’re definitely missing out haha 🤣 🐥🐓.
They follow me everywhere and it makes me so happy 😝🐥
