Well this was a first for me! I had no idea blue herons ate chipmunks 🫣😭! Definitely not something I expected to see while leaving a clients house! But I can definitely see how these birds are modern day dinosaurs 🦕🦖 tech wannabe

Sometimes my pet get hurt too 😞 poor Sonny boy. He got into a fight with the older rooster I have and got pretty bloodied up. I have gotten him as clean as I could and fix up the wounds, Gave him some pain meds and then snuggled for a bit while he fell asleep on me 🥹 hopefully he’ll make a full recovery ❤️‍🩹 🐓 ❤️

Everyone meet Millie! Millie is an 11 week old golden retriever puppy who is full of love and life!

I’ve been given the opportunity to love on and spend time with this little ball of energy for an hour everyday over the next week, while her parents are working and she adjusts to her new home life schedule!

She is the luckiest pup who gets to spend her days playing with 3 boys who I’m sure have just as much energy as she does! Millie is already so loved by her new family! And me for that matter! How could you not love a face like this !! 😍😍😍😍😍

Sooo after my fun hummingbird moth post, and also learning that the hornworm turned into them.
I discovered this nasty Tomato hornworm on my tomato plants 😭 .. fun fact about me.. I actually am soo grossed out by bugs, especially caterpillars, it’s taken me a full year to be okay hatching monarchs because I have to collect the caterpillars lol.

BUT as gross as this is, it’s also kind of cool! This particular tomato horn worm has been parasitized (meaning: has a parasite living on or inside it, deriving nutrients or shelter at the host's expense)
The Braconid Wasp finds these nasty creatures and uses them which will eventually kill the “worm” from the inside out.

The white rice-grain-looking things all over its back are wasp cocoons, not eggs. Tiny braconid wasp larvae developed inside the hornworm, emerge through its skin, and then spin those little white cocoons on the outside.

So basically the worm is now functioning as a little wasp nursery lol 😂
Sooo gross and soo cool all at the same time!
However I am now terrified to look through my tomato plants 😅 they’re so big 🤮😭 gives me the heebie-jeebies!

Meet Mabel! 😍🐇

I had the pleasure of watching Mabel for a few days in the summer, she is the cutesttttt bunny and full of personality at only 7 months old.
Mabel is living life in style and in my opinion would be considered one of the luckiest bunny’s I’ve ever met!

To start, her living arrangements are highhh class! She has her own condo, play pen space, she is litter trained, has toys galore and gets all the food and treats she could ask for! And on top of that maybe has 3 little kids that love her dearly and take very good care of her! And she noticeably loveeees them just as much! She runs around with them in the two large rooms on either side of her cage set up!

Mabel’s mom let me bring my own kids when I was stopping in to check on her, and she was soo playful with them! They played hide and seek and she would follow them around everywhere it was honestly the cutestttt. We all really enjoyed the time we got to spend with her and she tugged on my heart strings making me want a rabbit again! 😭😍😍😍🐇🐰💐

I guess it’s time I introduce another one of my pets!

Meet Chevy! Chevy is my 95lb shadow 😅 he will be 2 yrs old in October and he’s been my constant companion the whole time.

Chevy is Smart, Funny, Crazy, friendly, Hyper and has some good doggy friends he really enjoys playing with! (But always wants more)!
I’m so grateful he came into my life when he did, I had lost my soul dog 3 yrs prior and I was so sure I wouldn’t get another one, but there was just something about him and we couldn’t say no. He’s a lot like the dog I had lost in many ways, and I think he was sent to me on purpose to help heal my broken heart from the loss of my last dog 🥺❤️
He’s been the perfect addition to our lives and although he has his moments of driving me crazy 🤪I’m so thankful I have him in my life 🥰😊
