Hey all 🙂

I am still battling with my PEM. I am still unable to do much at this time. I miss teaching and having a group of Horse Crazy girls around. Unfortunately, that is not feasible at this time. If that changes at any point of time, you’ll all be the first to know!

So, I may not be able to teach but I am able to this:

I will be listing tack for sale and new listings will be posted daily.

Please PM if you see something you are interested in and feel free to inquire about something you are looking for.

For those who follow my personal FB page, you are likely already aware of my current situation. For those who are not:

My 6 month old puppy Lily was kicked in the face by a Horse recently and had acquired a $2200 vet bill.

Thanks to all of your donations and putting what I could towards it, we are down to only $400 owing!!!

If you are interested in donating through my Go Fund Page or via E transfer, please let me know.

I will share the link below to my Go Fund Me page.

Thanks everyone for your continued support!!

September Newsletter

September has been time for slowing down and a lot of reflection.

I have been considering closing Topaz Acres Equestrian due to my Health Struggles with Long Covid.

I have not been able to offer my services to the Standards I strive for and I have been unable to remain consistent in my schedules.

Today a post came out that they have found what may be causing Long Covid, which may allow for treatments to be found.

This news gives me hope. Hope that my body will be able to withstand my workload. Hope that my life may offer the consistency I need to successfully run this business. Hope that my high standards will be able to be met.

At this time, we are shut down for the winter and I will need to really focus on and manage my health over the next few months.

In order to do this, I have needed to downsize my herd and workload.

As much as it hurts my hear to see them go, I need to put my health first.

We are saying goodbye to:

Popcorn and Marshmallow

Chief and Pumpkin

Dusty and Ginger

And Sky

I will reassess for next season to see what if any services I will be able to offer next season.

Thank you all for your support

******Topaz Acres Equestrian 2025*********

This was my first year getting back to my Equestrian Business after some very serious health issues.

This year has been about learning my limits, assessing what works well for me and fine tuning those that do not.

There have been many challenges to overcome this year and a lot of trial and error.

The farm I am at has and still needs a ton of work to repair and re construct it back to a workable space. It has been very time consuming and my body can only tolerate so much at a time. Needless to say, this is and will continue to be a work in progress. I am looking forward to continuing with these renovations over the remainder of the year.

Pony Birthday Parties have been fun this year but with the wet and then the heat, they definitely presented with some challenges.

Summer Camps also presented with some challenges this year.

I will be spending some time evaluating these programs and fine tuning them.

And Lessons, I did not think I would be giving at all this year. I ended up with quite a few students and I wish I was able to continue them for the remainder of the season, however I am not able to at this time. Between weather, my body and now being down a lesson horse, it is a good sign that I am intended to stick to my original plan and switch gears for the Fall and Winter.

I want to Thank Everyone for all the Love, Support and Kindness this Spring/Summer and I am looking forwards to an even better year for 2026 at Topaz Acres Equestrian.

Riding Lessons for the Fall/Winter Season

Could I please have everyone either continuing lessons or wanting to sign up for lessons PM with available days/times during the school year and for those already enrolled, if you want to keep your current day/time or move it to a new one.

Thank you :)

That’s a wrap everbody! 2025 Summer Camps are finished and we are headed into Fall shortly.

What a busy but fun Summer and great first
few months getting Topaz Acres Equestrian off the ground. There have been a lot of great experiences and some learning curves while I navigate through learning the limits with my health and running a business again after so many years away from it. All and all I’d say we did pretty good and we will carry what we learned with us for next Spring/Summer 🙂

Thank you to all of my Helpers and Amazing Camp, Group Riders and Birthday party participants this Summer!! I am also very excited to continue Instructing my Lesson students and am so Thankful for the Clientele that has joined me!!

I still have many upgrades, programs and ideas to bring into fruition and I am really looking forward to what the future continues to hold for Topaz Acres Equestrian.
