It seems it wasn't that long ago we were leaving the hospital fresh post op with a whole lot of uncertainty and a bit of hope.
I knew we had organized every possible thing to set her up for the best recovery. So at that point I set out to just do the plan and stick with it.
While there is still a great deal of uncertainty, things are starting to get fun and I am seeing some very good improvements since her pre op existance.
So we are in the next phase of the plan and moving forward full steam ahead. And to be honest, I'm excited ❤️

Jacquie didnt do anything today.
Work was busy, I wasn't feeling great. It happens.
But what is incredible is that when shes comfortable, she can just settle. No pacing or whining. No up and down. Just relaxing. This is one of those little things that is a very happy outcome post surgery ❤️ Preop that was chopped up to her being a Belgian. Don't get me wrong, she is still a VERY intense busy girl, but now she can easily settle and turn off while at home.

One of many post op wins. Our future is bright and things are just starting to get fun. ❤️ heres to 10 weeks post op tomorrow!
We have a very exciting few weeks ahead of us including some big changes that I bet J is going to LOVE 💪

Because having a groomer on your care team means more than smelling nice and looking pretty 😘

Shout out to The Unleashed Boutique for being on our team and noticing that a minor skin issue, first noticed yesterday by Marta | Animal Massage, had progressed in a sneaky way in a very short amount of time.

It can be tricky to really get a good look at your pets skin regularly. Your groomer gets a fantastic and thorough look through all of the skin and can spot things before they become bigger issues. Groomers are definitely an important part of your pets care team ❤️

Because of Amy's sharp eyes and the stroke of luck that our friends at Dr. Sharon Bruce & Dr. Sarah Kerbrat had an appointment available on a long weekend 😅 we were able to get J everything to needs to get that cleared up before it really became an issue. Because J has NO time to slow down right now, she is just getting her speed back! 😎

Bonus points if your groomer also provides bonus enrichment during the grooming experience - RIP to not one...but three toys today 😅🫣🤣

Build a team who you can trust to work together and make sure your dog is feeling their best, always! ❤️
