Invitation to digital fjordhorse show
Welcome to the digital fjord horse show 2026, organized by Fjordhorse International. The event is open to fjord horse owners from all countries, allowing them to show their horses to international judges and receive feedback. Here are the key points:
The show is just for fun and learning. No points will be published, just some comments and list of results.
Participation is free, and there will be no prizes sent out. All participants will get comments via e-mail. This will be done after all results are publish, so it will take several weeks from the latest day of entrance.
Participation: Fjord horse owners from any country can participate, with a maximum of one horses per person. If mare with foal is shown it is permitted to participate with both, with one movie per horse. The horses must be purebred and registered in their respective countries.
Judging: A team of international judges will evaluate the horses. The horses will be divided into classes based on age and gender. There will be different teams for different classes, with the ambition that only judges from other countries than the participants will judge the class.

Please do it this way (one of two alternatives) and not longer than 4 minutes.
Put the movie on Youtube (yes, there are other ways to share a movie, but we have found this way simple for all, and that other ways can cause trouble for some judges). We will only accept links to Youtube.
Instructions about photo is also included in the movie. Save the photo marked with the name of the horse. The size should be 250 kB-1 MB.
Submission Details: Participants must send the video link, photo, and detailed information about the horse and owner (see below) to Helena Torkelsson at [[email protected]] not later than the 18th of September. Please, one mail per horse – that helps us a lot.
We need the following information: About the horse: name, year of birth, gender, father, mother, mothers father. About the owner: name, country and a permission for FjHI to share the video, photo and results.
We will create classes after entrance and before judging.
If some of the information is missing or the sent links and photo not fulfil the purpose we can exclude that participant. We will tell you if this is the case, and if there still is time we will give you a chance to do it better.
Results: Fjordhorse International will present the results for all classes, including the winner's feedback. The Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show will also be announced. All participants will receive feedback on their horses via email, and class winners will receive a diploma. The results will be published not later than the beginning of December.
