🐐 Orf / Contagious Ecthyma in Goats

Orf, also called Contagious Ecthyma, is a highly contagious viral skin disease of goats and sheep. It commonly causes thick, crusty lesions around the lips and mouth, especially in young animals.

The virus can survive in the environment for long periods, particularly in dried scabs.
