đļđŠē MANGE IN DOGS â KNOW THE SIGNS & ACT EARLY! â ī¸
Mange is a skin disease caused by microscopic mites that can lead to intense itching, hair loss, redness, crusting, and skin lesions. Different mites can cause different forms of mange, including Sarcoptes, Demodex, Notoedres, Cheyletiella, and Otodectes.
đŦ Diagnosis: Skin scraping, tape test, hair examination, and other diagnostic methods may be required to identify the causative mite.
đ Treatment: Appropriate acaricidal therapy, management of secondary infections, cleaning of the environment, and treatment of affected contact animals are important.
