নদী তীর, ভাটি-উজানে,
মন্দির-মসজিদ-শিক্ষালয়,
চর, দ্বীপ, প্রত্যন্ত এলাকায়;
সকল জেলা-উপজেলায়
সচেতনতার বাণী দেবো পৌঁছাই।'

মানুষের জ্বর হলে মানুষ জানে কি কি প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা নিতে হবে কিন্ত সর্পদংশনের ক্ষেত্রে তা জানে কি? জানে না! মানুষ যা জানে তা অধিকাংশই ভুল জানে। এই ভুল জানায় তাদের ক্ষতির কারণ । এই জন্যই আমাদের মৃত্যু হার হ্রাস পাচ্ছে না। সর্পদংশনের পরে কি কি করতে হবে এবং কি কি করা উচিৎ নয় তা নিয়েই সারা বাংলাদেশ ব্যাপী এই কার্যক্রম।

বাংলাদেশের ৫০০টি উপজেলার অনেকটুকু জুড়েই কাজ হয়েছে এবং কাজ চলমান।
বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি স্তরের মানুষকে সচেতন করে মৃত্যু হার হ্রাস করাই লক্ষ্য এবং উদ্দেশ্য। এই সচেতনতার মাধ্যমেই মৃত্যুহার হ্রাস করা সম্ভব। আমরা অপমৃত্যু হ্রাস করতে না পারলেও এক যোগ হয়ে সর্পদংশনে মৃত্যু ঠেকাতে পারি। আসুন সচেতন হই এবং সর্পদংশনে মৃত্যু হার হ্রাস করি।

📸🐍 Snakes in the Frame | FRAME e FERA Photo Exhibition

We are delighted to share that Mimi Rezoana, an alumna of Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, will be participating in the upcoming FRAME e FERA Photo Exhibition, alongside fellow photographers and participants.

Two of her photographs will be featured in the exhibition, reflecting her journey and connection with wildlife through photography.

Beyond the frame, Mimi will also be speaking about snakes and human–snake coexistence, drawing from her ongoing work to reduce human–snake conflict through awareness, education, and conservation.

Her work explores an important question: How can we move from fear and conflict toward understanding and coexistence with snakes?

Through both photography and conversation, Mimi hopes to encourage people to see snakes not simply as animals to fear, but as an important part of our ecosystems that deserve understanding and protection.
