Meet our boy, Blue Bear — or simply Michael, as we call him at home.

This handsome young Australian boy has recently become a father for the very first time, and we couldn't be happier with the puppies he has produced.

Michael is full of personality — cheerful, confident, playful, and always ready to be involved in whatever is happening around him. He has a wonderful temperament, and we're already seeing many of his lovely qualities reflected in his puppies.

Officially, his pedigree name is Blue Bear, but to us he will always be Michael — a much-loved member of the family with a big heart and an even bigger character.

We are very proud of this boy and excited to watch his first offspring grow and develop.

Most of the time, this page is about my dogs, my puppies, and the joy they bring.

Many of you follow my breeding journey, support my work, and share in the happiness of welcoming new life into the world. For that, I am truly grateful.

But today, I would like to ask for a moment of your attention.

I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. Much of my life was spent there. My friends are there. My memories are there. Part of my heart will always remain there.

Today, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of Ukraine’s most important spiritual and historical landmarks, was damaged during another Russian attack.

I often hear that missiles only strike military targets. But the reality is that homes, hospitals, schools, churches, historic sites, and ordinary people continue to suffer.

This is not just about a building. It is about history, culture, faith, and the identity of a nation.

For almost a thousand years, the Lavra has survived wars, invasions, and empires. It has endured more than most places on Earth.

And I believe it will endure this too.

The walls may be wounded, but the spirit remains unbroken.

The Lavra will stand.
Kyiv will stand.
Ukraine will stand.

The puppies are growing up so quickly, just as puppies always do.

They are eating well, gaining weight beautifully, and spending their days playing, exploring, and discovering the world around them. Toys are still fun, but what truly captures their attention now is people.

More and more, they seek human interaction, cuddles, gentle words, and companionship. They happily leave their toys behind if it means they can climb into someone's lap, follow a person around, or simply be close to them.

It is wonderful to watch their personalities develop and see how naturally they are forming strong bonds with people. Their affectionate, social nature shines a little brighter every day.

People sometimes ask what the philosophy behind our kennel is.

The answer has become clearer to us with every passing year spent alongside our dogs.

We have never believed that a dog is “just a pet.”

To us, dogs are one of life's greatest gifts.

They remind us of what truly matters.

Loyalty.

Kindness.

Patience.

And love.

Not because of what someone has done.

Not because of what they can give in return.

But simply because they exist.

Over the years, I have come to realise that while we may think we are raising our dogs, very often it is our dogs who are raising us.

Perhaps the reason they teach us so much is because they live by different rules than we do.

People often build relationships on an unspoken exchange.

I give, so I expect something back.

I care, so I want to be appreciated.

I love, so I hope to be loved in return.

Dogs do not keep score.

They do not measure what they have given against what they receive.

They do not ask whether someone deserves their devotion.

They simply love.

And perhaps that is why living with a dog allows us to experience one of the rarest forms of love we will ever know.

A love without conditions.

A love that does not depend on age, appearance, success, wealth, health, or mistakes.

A love that exists simply because you are there.

This is what a dog brings into a home.

A dog unites a family.

Teaches children responsibility and compassion.

Reminds adults to slow down, to care, and to notice the needs of others.

Perhaps the world becomes a little better every time a person learns to love the way a dog loves.

That is why the philosophy of our kennel has never been simply about breeding puppies.

Yes, we raise puppies.

But what matters most to us is what they bring into the lives of the families who welcome them.

A puppy is more than a companion.

More than a beautiful pedigree.

More than a future show dog.

A puppy is a small teacher.

A quiet reminder of loyalty, responsibility, patience, and unconditional love.

We understand this even more deeply as our own dogs grow old.

The dogs who no longer compete.

No longer produce litters.

No longer serve any practical purpose.

Yet somehow become even more precious with time.

Because it is then that we are given the opportunity to learn the lesson they have been teaching us all along.

To love not for achievement.

Not for usefulness.

Not for what someone can do for us.

But simply because they are here.

Because true love does not end when usefulness ends.

That is when it becomes real.

Perhaps that is the true philosophy of Snowgalhouse.

We do not simply raise dogs.

We carefully place into families small teachers of love, loyalty, kindness, and devotion.

And we hope that through them, the world becomes just a little gentler, a little kinder, and a little better.

It’s hard to believe how quickly these little ones have changed. Just a few weeks ago they were tiny newborns, and now they are already exploring the world, playing, learning and showing their own unique personalities.

Every day brings something new — a curious look, a playful bounce, a confident little step. Watching them grow is one of the greatest joys of breeding this wonderful breed.

They are healthy, happy, full of mischief and charm, and each day they become a little more like the beautiful Australian Silky Terriers they are meant to be.

One month old, and already stealing hearts.
