Welcome to Fluffy Butts Dog Salon. My name is Joanne and we are a home-based dog grooming salon in Urraween, Hervey Bay. Dog Grooming is not just a job to me its become a passion of mine found later in life after spending 25 years in the accounting sector. We specialise in Small to Medium Dogs, we do not groom large breeds. We have a Cert III in dog grooming through The College of Parramatta in Sy
dney. We studied with Michelle Warren at A Touch of Class Dog Grooming School in Melbourne in 2016 and continued more study with renowned, 3rd Gen dog groomer Kylie Tatti at KT's Dog & Cat Grooming Academy in 2019 and we are now in our 8th year of grooming. Here at Fluffy Butts Dog Salon we are a one on one dog grooming salon by appointment only. (Multiple dogs are also welcome per family at the same appointment). We cater for the anxious & non-social dogs as no other dogs are at their appointment from other families. All you need to do is drop your fur baby off and we will give you a text or call once they are ready. Maximum time in our salon would be 1.5-2 hours per dog. TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. 24 HOURS NOTICE OF CANCELLATIONS IS REQUIRED.
2. No shows and cancelled appointment outside of time will be required to pay a $30 re-booking fee plus grooming fee on the day.
3. We pride ourselves for being on time with all our customers, even being 5 minutes late can effect other dogs booked in for the day, so please make every effort to be on time. Late arrivals may have to be cancelled and re-booked.
4. We have the right to refuse any aggressive dogs.
5. If we are unable to groom your dog for any reason e.g. temperment, shows aggressive behaviour or bites, owner will be contacted to collect immediately and 50% of the costt of the original fee will be payable.
6. All dogs must be walked in on their lead.
7. Any dog that comes into our salon must be fully vaccinated, if not, it is at the owners risk.
8. If a dog becomes unwell during the grooming session for any reasons not associated with the grooming procedure, all efforts will be made to contact owner and will be treated at the nearest vet clinic at owners expense.
9. If your dog comes into our salon extremely matted, we will not de-matt your dog. He/she will be shaved down with the appropriate blade for the comfort of the dog. We practice humanity over vanity. We shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects that matt clipping may produce or any problems uncovered on the badly matted neglected coats e.g. Bruising, skin irriations.
