Our little clouded Bengal kitten is now 9 weeks old, and her blog post has been fully updated with all of her growth and development so far.

She’s got a A+++ personality and is full of Bengal cheekiness. She’s like a little shadow and follows me everywhere.

Whoot! After a nasty spell of being really unwell, I'm finally feeling human again and catching up on all the kitten news I have to share. :)

There's plenty coming, but first I want to complete the special albums for Poppy X Santanna's kittens.

There’s a lovely little piece of history behind our Edie that makes sending her off to her new family today even more special.

Edie is from our Poppy X Santanna mating, and tucked away in her pedigree on Poppy’s side is Hudo, Edie’s great, great, great grandsire.
Hudo was her new parents’ very first Bengal cat.

He was also one of my very first stud cats and was a part of my breeding program way back in 2009.

So now, all these years later, one of my early boys has come full circle and is now a part of his human parents and new little girl’s story.

I love things like this. You can spend years working with pedigrees and bloodlines, and every now and then one of those connections turns into something much more personal.

And now, all these years later, Hudo’s bloodline has brought Edie and her new family together.

What a beautiful connection to have. ❤️

Happy Gotcha Day 🤎

Today is the day some of our little Ashmiyah Bengals begin their travels to their new families.

They've left us, they've started their journeys, and before too long they'll be meeting the families who have been waiting for them.

There is always a little bit of excitement, a little bit of nervousness, and a very big “I wonder what they're going to get up to over the coming days as they settle in?”

To all our new families, thank you for being so wonderful throughout the process and for trusting us with this important part of your family. We're so happy to see each of these kittens joining families where they'll be loved, cared for and, no doubt, thoroughly entertained by their new Bengal.

Welcome to the Ashmiyah family.

Safe travels, little ones. Your new Bengal slaves are waiting. Go forth and establish the household hierarchy. 😂
