She had an absolute blast dressing up as the cutest baby at the Pet Expo on Saturday and hopes she caught the eye of a family looking for their perfect pup!

Zara is currently available as "𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁" because she is not yet desexed. You can take her home now, and the adoption will be officially finalized once she has safely had her procedure and all vet work is complete!

We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend visiting us at the Pet Expo and joining our Father's Day raffles at The Lionleigh today!

A massive shoutout to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, mum-dads and pet dads out there. We hope you had a wonderful Father's Day! 💙

Our foster boys Zeus, Benji, and Charlie, along with former foster Wookie, are absolutely tuckered out after yesterday's big day at the Expo.

Zeus has a trial adoption on the cards, but our sweet, bonded pair Benji and Charlie are still looking for their forever home! They won so many hearts yesterday and are ready for a family of their own.

🐾😺 Hi, I'm Dani! 😺🐾

I may have started life as a little street kitten, but after plenty of time, patience and rehabilitation, I’m officially ready to find a family of my very own!

I’m a quirky little black cat who absolutely loves other cats, so having a feline friend in my new home is a must. I can be a little clingy, so ideally my new friend will be just as excited about having me around! When I’m happy, you’ll catch me flopping onto the floor for a good roll around or playing with my favourite fluffy ball-on-a-string.

I’ve also discovered a talent for interior decorating. Apparently dragging my foster carer’s bras out of an accidentally open cupboard and scattering them around the room isn’t considered helpful... who knew? 😇

Because of my start in life, humans have taken me a little longer to figure out. Fast movements can still frighten me, and while I once saw hands as a threat, I’ve made huge progress. If I become overwhelmed, I may still communicate with a firm nip, so I need someone patient who can respect my boundaries and let affection happen at my pace.

I haven’t met dogs or children, and young kids won’t suit me due to my occasional nipping. My dream home has an understanding human who appreciates a quirky girl like me, plus a cat friend or two to keep me company.

I’ve already come such a long way - now I just need someone willing to continue the journey with me. 🖤

Our CQASI foster dogs are having the absolute best time today at the Rockhampton Pet Expo!

Come on down to the Robert Schwarten Pavilion before 2:00 PM today to join in the fun. Grab a snag at our sausage sizzle, chat with our amazing volunteers, and meet some of our beautiful dogs who are looking for their forever homes.

A huge shoutout to our gorgeous foster boy Zeus, who has already had an adoption enquiry today! 🤩 And how sweet is this - former CQASI foster dog Wookie even popped by to say hello and join in the fun!

We are helping a community member urgently rehome a beautiful, bonded trio of female pet rats (3.5 months old). They are young and curious, but will need a patient adopter who has the time to give them daily handling and socialization to help them build confidence.

🏡 Included: Cage, accessories, and food!
🚗 Transport: The owner can deliver to Rockhampton or surrounding areas.
