🥚🦜 EGG-CITING NEWS AT G&C AVIARIES! 🦜🥚
Our beautiful Double Yellow-headed Amazons have officially laid their first egg of the 2026 breeding season! 🎉💚💛
After months of preparation, patience and watching them work their nest box, it's fantastic to finally see that first egg!
Now we have our fingers crossed for more eggs and hopefully some healthy little Amazon chicks in the coming weeks! 🤞🐣

💦 AVIARY MISTING SYSTEM ALL SET UP! 🦜
Finally got the Nylex misting system up and running through the aviaries.
Great for those warmer days — giving the birds a nice fine mist to cool down, bathe and enjoy. ☀️💦
Really happy with how the setup turned out and the coverage I'm getting across the aviaries.
Simple setup, but a great addition for keeping the birds comfortable heading into the warmer weather. 🦜

🌱 Fresh sprouts for the flock! 🦜
Our first batch of Murphy’s Parrot Sprouting Mix. Grey stripe sunflower, sunflower, hulled oats, mung beans, Dunn peas and maple peas — freshly sprouted and prepared for our birds.
A great fresh addition to the diet as we head through breeding season. 💚🌱
