Quick little introduction to the newest hatchlings here at Green Acre Poultry! 🐥

Over the past week and a half we’ve welcomed so many new little faces, each with their own unique personality already starting to shine through.

It’s been such an exciting start to our breeding season, with our pure Call Ducks beginning to lay much earlier than expected and giving us some fantastic hatch results so far.

These little ones will be filling spots on our current waitlist, while a select few will be staying here to become part of our future breeding program.

I believe every animal deserves fresh grass, warm sunshine and genuine care everyday. They’re more than just something cute to look at, they’re lives we’re responsible for.

Apparently the farm is full of surprises!

A few months ago someone was finding a new home for 3 of their hens they didn’t have time for and who weren’t laying.

I naturally took them in, along with their rooster friend, and much to my surprise 2 of them ended up being Easter Eggers!

These will be adding some color to the barnyard mix cartons I have!
