Did you know, Shingleback lizards are also commonly known as pinecone lizards, bob-tail lizards, two-headed lizard, sleepy lizards, or even stumpy tail lizards!

What you may not know is, in our house we know them as the bakery lizards, why? Because they are lovingly named Chocolate Face, Choccy Face for short (male) and Vanilla Slice, Vee for short (female).

Today was treat day for our Bakery Inspired Shingleback Lizards, with some apple slices, fruits are often reserved as “treats” due to the sugar content and the damage this sugar can do to their teeth and gums!
