Madchen ❤️🐶

Madchen is a sweet rescued Rottweiler who lives with chronic pain, which often makes husbandry behaviours much harder due to elevated stress and discomfort.

She has found nail trims to be very scary, to the point they weren’t able to be safely completed.
By allowing her to sit in a position that was comfortable for her, providing lots of delicious treats, and slowly building up to the clip using a predictable step-by-step process, Maddie was able to comfortably accept having her curly rear dew claws trimmed.

She is such a brave, beautiful girly. ❤️
