The reason we do temperament testing at MLL is to help families identify a puppies strength and weaknesses - in order for you to build and grow them into fine adult dogs- with fine tuning and tweaking on their behaviours and working with their natural temperament can certainly lead to wonderful outcomes 🐾♥️pet companion or services .♥️🐾

Up Date:

We wanted to give you a little update on Pistachio, aka Stashi, formerly known as Bowie!

Stashi is doing really well. His confidence has improved immensely, and he’s gone from a shy little pup to a confident, playful little boy. He recently graduated from puppy school and has now moved up to intermediate doggy school!

He absolutely loves playing at the dog park, especially with other puppies. His favourite food is Greek yoghurt, although he’s also a big fan of carrots and loves his veggies.

His favourite place to be is still at home with us. We’re continuing to work on his confidence while out walking, and he’s getting better and better every day. He gets lots of cuddles and kisses and loves nothing more than lying on the couch with us.

Hi - Hope you are well (Zeppelin aka Zeppy) formerly Max.

He is fitting in well and is definitely part of the family, the kids love him and he loves the kids. Great dog, typical pup but with some training moving forward he will go into adulthood a great well rounded dog.

Reggie is the best, full of love and a bit of silliness! Huey said the other day, Reggie's changed my life forever! I thought that was quite deep for an 8yo boy!
I have Reggie cuddles on the couch nearly every night. The best therapy I didn't know i needed! 💙🐾He can still do no wrong in my eyes😆💙

EXCEPTIONAL families♥️
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing one of our beloved pet tribe families grow into Guardian families, or another part of our new developing opportunities within our program.
One of our Gold Coast family - The wonderful home of MLL Lottie, from the moment Lottie joined their family, She was loved nurtured and provided with the very best care over the years. We stayed connected catching up and sharing in her milestones and achievements.
🐾A few years later during one of our conversations they shared that they were excited about welcoming another Australian Cobberdog into their home 🐾🥰, having witnessed the incredible care commitment and love provided Lottie I felt completely confident in their ability to offer the same financial emotional social and physical support to another Puppy.
🐾After discussing the opportunities available within our program. We agreed that becoming a Guardian family would be the perfect fit MLL Yellowstone “Rip”.
Rip joined their family and has spent the last few years doing whatever Dog should be doing enjoying life as a cherished family companion surrounded by love adventure enrichment and everyday family.

“Rip” has grown into a truly stunning young male. The time has come for “Rip” to begin fulfilling his role within our breeding program with his health testing almost completed our handsome boy has matured into a beautiful standard sized Australian Cobberdog standing at 56 cm and weighing 21.8 kg his striking raven black coat wonderful temperament and impressive development make him an exciting addition to the future of our Program.

Hudson is a delight. Quite energetic but at least he makes me walk.
His obedience is quite good inside, apart from the cat chasing and wanting to play with him all time😂
He is very excited meeting other dogs and people, but everyone always wants to cuddle him as he is so darn adorable, so that is going to take a while. He will get there.
Currently standing at 55cm and nearly 20kgs.
I hope you are doing well.

A little update on our Saffron

Saffron update:

Our beautiful girl saffron is fast approaching her prime and we couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.

Standing at 49 cm and weighing 16.1 kg saffron is a gorgeous medium
Cobberdog with a warm caramel Red with splash of white parti ,straight coat -with an equally beautiful nature. her calm sweet and affectionate personality shines through every day embroidering all the wonderful traits inherited from her mother MLL Aster.

As we watch this special girl mature our anticipation continues to grow. We simply can’t wait for the day. We welcome her gorgeous puppies into the world.

From Aster & Buddy October 2025. We’ve had a wonderful time choosing names that celebrate the heart and soul of Australia from Villa Barnes and Bank is to where it has in southern skies. Every name tells a little story.
