Yesterday was pamper day for KNP Stallion Shadow. After a good brush I rubbed a bit of Vaseline on his dry muzzle. Shadow wasn’t particularly impressed with this but once it was rubbed in he was a happy boy again.

Shadow is such a handsome boy.

It was a big day today for Little Woody. Paul gave him his first trim. He was a bit nervous about having 2 people in his space at first but soon settled n lifted his front leg up gently without resistance albeit whilst his little body was shaking, bless him. By the time his front feet were done the nervous shakes were gone n the ears pricked forward.
Good boy Woody, you’re a little superstar 🏆

LITTLE WOODY IS AVAILABLE FOR REHOMING.

There will be another rally in Rockhampton on 3rd OCTOBER 2026. Let’s show our support for the brumbies. Let’s get more people there than last time.

Last time National Rallys were held to bring awareness to the plight of the brumbies. There has been 2 further injunctions with court hearings pending as well as the original in junction A Federal petition at present to lobby to protect Australian rights and heritage. A Bill being prepared to basically reinstate The Brumby Heritage Act in NSW and another petition to trial for Co existence of KNP Brumbies in the park and how that could be achieved. Your voices did that . You have and are being heard. Lets keep it up to stop the inhumane treatment of horses . November is bearing down on the horses in KNP when another aerial cull of the brumbies is going to commence if we don’t take take action now.

Come n join the BRUMBY RALLY in Rockhampton on Saturday 3rd October. Paul and KNP Brumby Coban from Clearview Brumby Rescue will be there. So come down and join the rally and meet an amazing Kosciuszko brumby.

Let’s get as many people there on the day as we can to show we care about our brumbies. Share far n wide and spread the word

Say NO CULL.
SAVE THE BRUMBIES

Thank you Lynette Laskus for organising the Brumby Rally

Woody is an absolute little champion, and I love working with him. He’s such a character n try’s so hard.
The last couple of days I’ve been doing a bit more liberty work with him. This session was Woodys first time lunging at liberty in the big training paddock and he lunged in a perfect circle n stopped on command. Then he usually presents his off side to me so I can pat him..
Woody is available for rehoming. He’s a fun little boy but does require an experienced home.

Today Little Miss Bo ventured out into the paddock for the first time. She walked out from the yards calmly before doing a few zoomies with the rest of the mares before settling down.

It was great to see another 2 brumbies rehomed last week. Milly and Sunshine were delivered by Paul to their new home in Mount Larcom. So a relatively short trip for Paul to drop them off.
Flavia and Paul were over the moon to have them home. Initially they had picked just Milly but then decided Milly needed a friend so chose to take Sunshine too. Both Milly and Sunshine are such easy going fillies, I’m sure they will settle in well to their new home just up the road. ❤️
