On other episodes of get to know the piggies

Our rescue piggy “ peach “who’s shy + scared of everything ( not an understatement humans to her are scary she would rather escape at all cost 😢) witch makes so much sense if she didn’t get much love or attention prior But She’s not broken , she’s just learning that humans are safe ( she’s one of our possible adoptions if she realises humans anti all that bad ) often piggies like peach get over looked .. to hard she’s not that cute fluffy cuddly piggy most family’s want .. so what happens when a piggy in-care can’t move past there previous experience or be adopted out you ask ??

Well they become a full time family member of our resident piggies 🍑

Helpful Critical medical rules !

Never give human medications as they are highly toxic to guinea pigs.

Never let them stop eating. If your guinea pig stops eating entirely, their gut will shut down quickly

Common Emergencies & What To Do

Signs: Swollen/hard belly, lethargy, teeth grinding, squeaking when touched

First Aid: Keep them warm administer a small dose (0.1–0.2 mL) of infant simethicone (e.g., Little Remedies Gas Relief) to alleviate gas. Syringe-feed recovery food
