🤗Today our puppies enjoyed some snuffle mat enrichment — a simple activity that has so many wonderful benefits for their developing minds.

😋We hide little treats throughout the folds of the mat and let the puppies use their incredible sense of smell to sniff, search and problem-solve to find them.

🤎✨ OUR VERY FIRST CHOCOLATE PHANTOMS ARE READY FOR GOTCHA DAY! ✨🤎

What a special milestone for GC Mini Poodles! Our very first litter of Chocolate Phantom Miniature Poodles are all grown up and ready to begin their beautiful new lives with their forever families. 🥹🐾

But what exactly is a Chocolate Phantom?

🤎 Chocolate comes from the recessive brown gene. A chocolate Poodle needs to inherit a copy of the brown variant from both parents (b/b), which changes the production of black pigment to brown — giving them their gorgeous chocolate coat, brown nose and lighter-toned features.

✨ Phantom refers to the striking pattern of lighter “points” appearing in specific areas — typically above the eyes, around the muzzle, chest, legs and under the tail. Think of it as the Poodle version of beautiful little eyebrows! 😍

The result? A rich chocolate coat paired with gorgeous contrasting points that become even more beautiful as they grow. 🤎🤎

Watching our first Chocolate Phantom babies develop has been incredibly special, and we’re so proud of these happy, confident little puppies as they prepare for GOTCHA DAY! 🏡💛

🔊🐩 DAILY NOISE EXPOSURE — BUILDING CONFIDENT PUPPIES 🐩🔊

💥Today we started our “loud noise” exposure with our little ones — an important part of the early development work we do here at GC Mini Poodles.

🐶From a young age, our puppies are gradually and positively introduced to a variety of everyday sounds. Vacuums, household noises, music, doors, appliances, outdoor sounds and other unexpected noises all help prepare them for life beyond our home.

👏We like to clap 3 times.
Why do we clap three times?
It creates a brief, unexpected sound that allows our puppies to practise their natural startle-and-recovery response. They may jump or pause for a moment, then learn to assess the situation and return to what they were doing.We’re not trying to stop puppies from startling — we’re helping them learn to recover confidently after something unexpected happens.

🤔Why do we do it? Because the world can be a noisy place! 🌎

🐩Age-appropriate, controlled exposure helps our puppies learn that new and unfamiliar sounds aren’t something to fear. Our aim is to build confidence, resilience and the ability to recover calmly when something unexpected happens.

📣We keep every experience positive, gentle and appropriate for their stage of development, carefully watching how each puppy responds. 🐾

🤗It’s all part of raising well-rounded puppies and giving them the best possible foundations before they head off to their forever families. 🏡❤️

🌸🐩 STAR AT THE TOOWOOMBA FLOWER SHOW 🐩🌸

👏 Our beautiful Star had the most gorgeous day attending the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers !🌷🐾

💐Surrounded by an incredible display of colourful blooms, she certainly looked right at home amongst all the flowers. 🌼🌺

🤗 And of course, Star loved being out and about, taking in all the sights, sounds and attention!

🥹 We absolutely love seeing our GC Mini Poodles out enjoying life with their families and experiencing new places and adventures.🐶🙌

🌿🐾 OUTDOOR PLAY = LEARNING THROUGH PLAY! 🐾🌿

Today’s adventure for our Poodle puppies was BALL PLAY! 🎾⚽️

Here at GC Mini Poodles, playtime is about so much more than simply having fun. As part of our Badass Breeder puppy curriculum, we intentionally introduce our puppies to new experiences, objects, surfaces, sights and sounds during their important early developmental weeks.✨

Living on acreage gives our puppies an incredible environment to explore. 🌳 They’re exposed to so many different sights, sounds, smells and textures — from birds and wildlife to cars, machinery, different surfaces and all the everyday noises of life.

Today, the balls came out! 🥎

Ball play introduces movement, rolling objects, different sizes and textures while encouraging curiosity, confidence, coordination and problem-solving. Some puppies dive straight in, while others like to sit back, watch and investigate in their own time — and that’s all part of learning. 🐩🤗

These little experiences all add up, helping us raise confident, curious and well-rounded puppies who are better prepared for the big wide world waiting for them.👏

And the best part? To them, it’s simply another FUN day outside! 🥰🐾

We can hardly believe we have just ONE more week with these beautiful babies before they begin their exciting new lives with their forever families. 🏡✨

The countdown is officially on, and while we know their families are bursting with excitement, we’re going to soak up every cuddle, every puppy kiss and every crazy little moment we have left with them. 🥰

👑✨ HERE THEY ARE… OUR GORGEOUS ROYAL LITTER! ✨👑

🐩Our beautiful medium Poodle Royal Litter are officially TWO WEEKS OLD and growing so beautifully! They now all have their eyes open😍

🐶Today was a little pamper and check-in day for our tiny royals. 👑

⚖️They were all weighed, wormed, had their nails clipped and received a collar upgrade as they continue to grow.

🥰We are completely in love with these little royal beauties and are loving watching each of their personalities begin to emerge.
