Sorry guys,
Unfortunately there has been no improvement in my wrist so I will unfortunately be closing Bark you, I will miss all my clients and their beautiful dogs but I am also excited to be going back to my small farming routes and having a lot more time with my kids

Sorry guys ❤️ this is a really hard message to write but unfortunately as some of you know I have been struggling with an RSI in my wrist and back issues making grooming quite difficult, unfortunately the problem boils down to me simply being the cliche mum who has forgotten how to look after myself whist juggling, kids, work and a side business so I have decided to put Bark you on hold until I can get back on track, I will still be taking appointments through July and honouring all already made appointments. I will be doing my best this week to message everyone starting with those who will be due for a groom soon
The groomers I recommend for future bookings are:
Mel at rouse hill for desheds and basic tidies
Belinda at Annangrove for all grooms (availability’s for dogs over 15kg are limited)
The team at Petbarn Dural for all grooms and all sizes
I have worked along side all these amazing groomers and trust that they will care and love your dogs as much as I have, I have been so fortunate to have such amazing clients and really appreciate all your support and referrals.

Have been a little slack on posting lately 🫣 here the last 2 weeks of handsome boys ❤️
Zuko for his de-she’d and outline tidy, Winston and Eddie for their slightly longer teddy clips now that we are getting into colder weather and Cruise for his monthly de-shed. Pretty’s sure I’m the luckiest groomer to have such naturally handsome clients making my job easier, and the cuddles and kisses are the best 🥰

One of the most common questions I’ve been asked in grooming is how to brush correctly and maintain long coats between grooms, Cruise and Ollie are here to help me give a mini tutorial on how to use a slicker and a comb properly, a comb is the most important grooming tool you need as it get right to the base of the coat ensuring every inch is knot free, a lot of matting cases are because owners have been told to just use a slicker brush which unfortunately only brushes the top layer leaving underneath knotted and if left too long matted. Cruise is a Meremma (long double coated breed) on a monthly deshedding schedule and Ollie is a spoodle (curly coated breed) who is on a 6-8 week grooming schedule, keeping grooms 8 weeks or less from 10 days after their 3rd puppy vaccination are best as they not only help keep your furry family members looking beautiful but it also helps them have a better relationship with grooming as it is routine and no mats or knots in coats means a much nicer experience for them, matting removal can hurt and in severe cases can leave rashes and/or cuts
