⚠️Scammer Update ⚠️

Looks like alleged scammer Michael Francis Costello has his white knight Chris Brands out, advocating for his alleged “innocence”.

We think she’d sound a fraction more believable if she actually had evidence to back up her claim, or any level of substance to her arguments rather than just trying to flip the switch and victim blame those ripped off by Costello.

In recent updates, Costello appears to have been finally charged for fraud.

🚨🚨SCAM ALERT! 🚨🚨

Stephanie Mccraw in the group Horse gear, rugs, horses and pony for sale/lease

Here are the red flags:
🚩 None of the items have the same background or picture quality
🚩 All of the items for sale are ‘high traffic’ ‘big ticket’ items that scammers tend to use because they’re so popular (ie freejump stirrups, Veredus boots, hidez hoods)
🚩 Profile Stephanie Mccraw has the fb link Stephen Kanyingi- meaning that is the scammers real name and the original name for this fb profile. He changed his name to Stephanie for the purpose of scamming.

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT! 🚨

Thank you to our followers for your scammer submissions! We are working hard to get through all the messages promptly.

Today Renee Richardson has earned her spot in our scammer hall of fame.

Renee isn’t the typical ‘Nigerian Scammer’ that we ordinarily post on this page. Renee is your local Queensland con artist.

Along with holding a Guinness World Record title for being the best facebook profile chameleon (in the sense that her profile always changes after she scams someone); Renee is so successful as an online criminal that she has her own fan group on Facebook and news articles that cover her scamming endeavours.

From the screenshots submitted to us Renee has allegedly scammed people with concert tickets, saddles, saddle pads, cars, MacBooks, baby bassinets and Medicare fraud to obtain scripts. Renee has allegedly also stolen from a small eyelash business.
We have been told of a today tonight article that exposes Renee for allegedly stealing identity of a victim too.

This isn’t a fu**ed up version of the 12 Days of Christmas. This is a resume of destruction on innocent Australian victims.

There seems to be a reoccurring trend of the use of hospital as an excuse for her lack of postage or communication.

Renee has children that she has posted on her public profile. This isn’t their fault, so we have done our best to redact their images from the screenshots.

Always pay with PayPal goods and services when purchasing anything online.

If an advertisement on Facebook seems too good to be true, it most likely is.

Stay vigilant,
Sherlock Horse.

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT! 🚨

Thank you to our followers for another submission!

This scammer is using the profile Allison Miller Wagner to scam innocent victims in whatever “in search of” posts they are making in horse groups.

In this instance, the victim was seeking barefoot boots and miraculously Allison had the ones the victim was after.

🚩Red Flags 🚩
-This scammer has serious identity crisis issues!
First, Allison changed ‘his’ profile picture to a horse in western gear. Then, he changed it to a female blonde western rider.
Then he’s become Australian competition riders, finally he’s uploading photos of himself as a female from the Uk.

-Allison is liking all his own photos but you can see this is a recent Facebook account with a lot of photos uploaded in a short amount of time.

- We have no fu***ng clue what “I am a woman of dignity period” means. Perhaps that time of the month is done with dignity. Who knows. Too much AI for their own good.

-In the messages, Allison says “kindly”, something that just isn’t spoken by normal sellers.

-The bank account name doesn’t link up to the Facebook account name. Always the way with scammers!

Please be careful! Don’t hand your hard earned money over to these criminals.

We are so sorry for the follower who fell victim to this filth!

Stay vigilant,

Sherlock horse.

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT 🚨

Whilst looking to find out more about the scammer in our previous post, we accidentally came across this other scammer. We can’t avoid them 🤣

The scammer is using the profile Orla Williston and currently scamming in Everything Barrel Racing!!!

🚩Red flags 🚩
- Empty profile
-all photos have been liked by people from overseas
-Brand new photos and all seem to be uploaded around the same time
-Lots of stuff for sale with different backgrounds and settings each time.

Please stay vigilant,
Sherlock Horse

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT 🚨

We are so grateful for our followers and all the submissions we have received!

This is how we can hopefully prevent scammers from hurting good people!

Grace Rhiannon has been scamming in horse groups using cheap Horseware ice vibes boots to entice victims in.

Posing as a female, this profile may have been run by any gender.

We can no longer find the profile, which means the scammer behind the profile has most likely changed the name and photos.

The bank account name for this scammer was R Patton but these scammers usually use mule accounts.

Please be careful!

We have posted many red flags in previous posts to look out for. Please scroll through our previous posts and educate yourself on how to avoid losing money to these criminals.

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT 🚨

This is a little different to the normal ‘Nigerian Scammers’ we expose, but we think it is important to warn the public of all scammers, not just those overseas!

We have received reports and submissions about an Australian man called Michael Costello (MFC Equine / MFC performance horses) located in Victoria.

Thankfully we don’t need to say much about this man as the media has done the work for us, but if you are still unconvinced, please check out his raving reviews in Beware: Bad Horse Deals, Buyers & Sellers - Australia and similar groups.

🚨 SCAMMER ALERT 🚨

Thank you to our follower for the submission!

Justice McKenzie is currently advertising in groups All things dressage - Australia & Used Horse Blankets MN & Rambo blankets like *new*/used for sale

This scammer has stolen the photos from genuine person and farrier Chad Lausen.

So what are the red flags? 🚩

The scammer is responding to all enquires with “pm”.

The photos on the profile have clocks next to the date posted. This means the date and time has been adjusted and isn’t authentic.

All the likes on the profile are empty fake profiles.

Don’t fall for these scams!

Please share!

Stay vigilant,
Sherlock Horse

🚨 SCAMMER UPDATE! 🚨

The scammer using the profile alias ‘Jennifer Murphy’ has changed the alias name to Jennifer Campbell.

Photos have been changed too! Still the same “changed his profile” above the photos.

Be on the lookout for empty profiles, items for sale with no pick up location, and repetitive items for sale!

If you are not sure, please message us and we can have a look for you!

If something seems too good to be true it probably is!

Always do your due diligence. Ask for photos of the item with a piece of paper including your name and date. Make sure it hasn’t been photoshopped.

Stay vigilant,
Sherlock horse
