🧡 WHERE ARE MARLOW’S PEOPLE? 🧡
We know you’re out there. And this gorgeous boy has waited long enough to find you.
Mr Marlow isn’t looking for just a home. He’s looking for his person.
Someone dog-savvy. Active. Confident. Someone who loves a big, goofy, affectionate dog with a huge personality and isn’t fazed when that personality occasionally arrives at you at speed. 😂
Marlow is ridiculously lovable. He’s funny, affectionate, clever, athletic and an absolute character. He adores his humans and has so much potential in the right hands.
But here’s the important bit…
Marlow needs someone who understands dogs.
He’s still a big, boisterous youngster who can be mouthy, jumpy and push boundaries when he’s excited or wants attention. Give him an inch and he’ll happily investigate whether you’ve actually got another six. 😜
He doesn’t need harshness. He needs calm, confident leadership, consistency, structure and someone who means what they say.
🏃 We think his dream home could be an active, sporty individual or couple who wants a dog genuinely involved in their life albeit walking, hiking, adventures, training and then crashing together at the end of the day.
🏡 Ideally, we’re looking for an adult home without children, where Marlow can have the consistency and attention he needs. Or, a home with super dog savvy children over 12 years old may be considered.
🐕 And another dog? Potentially YES, in fact, the right dog could be wonderful for him.
We’d love to meet a calm, tolerant, socially savvy dog who won’t be bothered by Marlow’s enthusiastic rough-and-tumble play, but who also knows how to politely tell him, “Mate. That’s enough.”
Marlow could really benefit from a good canine role model, a dog who can help teach this oversized goofball how to dog. ❤️
What we won’t do is rush him into another home.
Marlow has already had two adoption trials end after only three days through absolutely no fault of his own but, because the humans weren’t prepared to give him the time and understanding they had committed to. He cannot have another failed placement.
So this time we’re looking for exceptional, not just interested.
His new family must understand the 3-3-3 principle, be prepared for the normal bumps that come with a rescue dog settling in, and be committed to working through them rather than expecting perfection on Day 1.

Because somewhere out there is a person who’s going to read Marlow’s profile and think:
“THAT is my kind of dog.”
And that’s exactly who we’re looking for. 🧡
