🚨 THE ACCIDENT 🚨

Okay… there was no actual accident 😂

No children were hurt making this video. My three-year-old simply had a three-year-old moment when a blister he already had started hurting, gently hopped off his bike and carefully laid himself on the ground. 😂

But then came the REAL test…

One child. One bike. One dog. One bag of poo. And me carrying ALL of it home. 🫠

And this is exactly why loose lead walking matters. When your dog can walk calmly beside you without pulling, it makes those unexpected moments SO much easier.

Enjoying the winter dog coats before the winter shedding!!! Haha

As it gets warmer, if your doggo needs a brush, leave your brush out for me and I can stop and brush them on our walk (this gets the hair left at the park not as much on your couch haha)

Customers ask and worry that 30min walks aren't enough.... well... that depends what your dog wants to do on the walk!

10 mins of sniffing gives your dog loads of mental stimulation!

A fast walk gives exercise!
A run focuses that over excitable energy / distracts from other habits and also gives that outside adventure!

As we start to leave winter 1hr walks will start to be too hot for your doggo but a

30min social walk with other dogs...
30min one on one walk
or early mornings if you still want that hr walk are safer options for your pup!

Teaching loose lead walking is repetitive… sometimes you lose faith that it’s walking… or feel you’re not getting results… then you look back and see just how far you’ve come from being “that person”… you know the one…. The one that people call out “who’s walking who?!” Thinking they’re funny… meanwhile you’re telling to keep your arm safely attached hoping you don’t pass another dog.

If you want to book a loose lead training session I’ll give you the tools to continue and practise between sessions until we have you’re dog walking politely beside you 🥰🤎🐾

I may have accidentally become that person today… 😂🏅

Every dog I walked had to hear about my first-ever half marathon medal. Sorry, pups. You didn’t really have a choice. 🤣

Poor Vinnie had it the worst… I even made him “admire” my medal for treats. 🐶🥹

This morning I swapped dog walks for 21.1km. 🏃‍♀️🐾

If you were wondering why I wasn’t available this morning… it’s because I was ticking off a huge personal goal: my very first half marathon! 🎉

I even had My Dog Walks on my race bib, because this little business is such a big part of who I am.

Now it’s straight back to what I love—walking your dogs this afternoon and tomorrow. ❤️🐶

Thank you to everyone who cheered me on, supported my business, and kept me motivated. One goal down… what’s next? 💪

When your dog knows the job a little too well… 😂🐾

This session was meant to be about practising Vinnie’s recall back into heel.

The only problem? I couldn’t even sneak away from him to set it up because he kept choosing to stay right by my side. 🤣

After a few failed attempts, we finally got some distance, and he absolutely nailed returning to heel… then finished with a drop right beside me. 💪

Training isn’t always perfect, and that’s part of the fun. Every session builds clearer communication and a stronger relationship with your dog.
