This is Daisy. She is a 7 month old Groodle and very sweet. She is in need of a new home as soon as possible. She is very playful and still a pup. She has had some anxiety but this will disappear in the right home. She is great with kids and just needs to be loved. She is in Melbourne and if anyone is interested then please msg me. From one extreme to another! This little Samoyed is only 4 months old and although he is too young to have developed concerning behavioural problems, the owner needed some help in setting him up for success.

***Reactivity*** The majority of my clients dogs have reactivity issues. These can present in many ways with barking, lunging, biting, withdrawal and freezing. All of these issues are a reaction to a situation they don’t like. One thing I get all of my clients to do is to practice calmness. Just sit with your dog in a relaxed space. Allow them to see their triggers from a distance. It allows you to relax and your day to remain calm.

Many people ask me how to stop their dogs reacting while at cafes. This must be done at home to establish the behaviour you want. Teach your dog a place command using a mat. Let them understand this is their safe place. It takes time to establish new behaviours so be patient and consistency and repetition is the key before introducing a quiet cafe environment then increase the distractions.

****Raj Update****
Today Raj went to the first park in his life and although he is still reactive , the it is subsiding. A long way to go but he is a happy boy.

Fantastic News!!!!! This is Raj a German Shepherd Malinois Cross. He has been in lock up and on death row since July 2025. After a battle in court today Raj is now on his way home with his owner.
Raj is very reactive to other dogs and there have been multiple attacks but after my evaluation and offer to train him the court went against Council and took my advice. Huge win and lots to do. Stay tuned.

Cicci and I would like to wish all of our wonderful clients , friends, fellow professionals and furry friends a wonderful and safe Christmas and a fantastic 2026.
It’s been such a privilege to be able to work with so many wonderful pooches and their carers. I am looking forward to what maybe been my final year in Melbourne but I will keep you posted on that. Take care and stay safe and look after your precious pups. Merry Christmas.

Bumped into the lovely ladies from Pet Well today at the Docklands Doggie Xmas party. Such a great community down there and Pet Well giving away lots of treats and products. If you want to treat your dog well then I highly recommend Pet Well.
