Did you know coffee can be toxic to dogs?

Curious Milo💕 recently became very unwell after eating coffee grounds in the garden. Thankfully, he received prompt veterinary care and is now recovering well.

Even small amounts of caffeine can cause serious illness in dogs, with signs including restlessness, vomiting, a racing heart, tremors and seizures.

Coffee grounds, instant coffee, tea bags, and compost containing coffee waste should always be kept well out of reach of pets.

If you suspect your pet has ingested caffeine, contact your veterinarian (Sorrento Animal Hospital 😉) straight away. Early treatment can make all the difference.
